This is a great puppet! I use it a lot to teach body parts and colors. There are a number of different eyes, arms, horns, even teeth. It's a lot of fun. The kids all love it!

THIS IS MY 5TH PUPPET IN THE MELLISSA AND DOUG SERIES.. MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND 8 YEAR OLD SON LOVE THEM! IT USES A LOT OF IMIGINATION AND WE PUT TOGETHER SHOWS FOR THE FAMILY, ALSO WE WORK ON MAKING "TV SHOW" SHORTS, TEACHING THEM DICTION, LEARNING LINES, AND HOW THE PROCESS IS FOR MAKING A TV SHOW, THEN WE VIDEO TAPE IT AND EDIT IT DOWN, THEY REALLY ENJOY THE PROCESS..MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT DURING SHIPPING THEY SHOVED IT INTO A SMALL BOX THAT SMOOSHED IT, BREAKING THE STICK. NO PROBLEM, I HAVE WOOD GLUE LOL!

I bought this for my boyfriend's 4 year old grandson, Lamar. I also bought the firefighter one, since those are the two jobs my boyfriend does. Well, Lamar immediately told us that the construction worker was "Bob the Builder". He made every grownup that came over play with his puppets. They look exactly like the Muppets. The stick is held on by velcro and can be used in the puppets right or left hand. The body of the puppet goes all the way up to an adult's elbow, and the mouth is easy for small hands to work. He absolutely LOVED them. I am thinking about getting the basketball player also. I also enjoyed playing with them with him. The quality is very good, no small pieces. Another wonderful puppet from Melissa and Doug! She is so sweet. I added some earrings and a hair bow for decoration. She is fun and easy to control. Her legs are a plus so you can make her dance.

Although my son really loves his puppet, I must say that I was a little disappointed when I received it. I expected the knight to have legs and an image on costume as originally shown in the ad picture, but other than his face the puppet was totally different... No legs and no image on costume... Because my son is in a puppetry class on Saturdays and it arrived just prior to the new session starting I didn't have the heart to return it. Besides that, he loved it! So, although it didn't meet my expectations, it's still a very nice puppet! And I have to admit, the price was pretty nice too!
