I bought this toy for my daughter. It does not come ready to use and you have to purchase the light bulb separately. If you did not read the box carefully you can easily miss that and you won't be able to use the toy until you do. That would be a really disapointment on Christmas.

OH...MY...GOD!.... What a disgusting "toy". RUN, don't walk, away from this. As previous posters said, the cupcakes actually STINK and look disgusting coming out of the microwave. There is NO point to the icing machine. It doesn't work. It's a pain to load the icing plunger, only to have the icing dump like a blob off to the side of the cupcake. I can do THAT by hand! My three year old jumped back and covered her nose and mouth when the end result was put in front of her. She refused to eat it and told me it was disgusting. The company should be ashamed of themselves! I paid $20... for what??? FOUR GROSS CUPCAKES! Avoid this like the plague!

I tried the Hulk hands at Wal mart. I had a lot of fun with them, even though I'm an adult. I could not insert my hands completely into the gloves because my hands were too large.I wish they had larger-sized models for adults who have large hands.

Super cute, super durable and super fun for playing 'birthday party.' The perfect birthday gift for any young child. (age 2-6 or so I would say, although it does have some smallish round pieces which are about the size of a quarter)

Wild Planet A Pirate's Life Treasure Hunter

We bought this game for our son on his 6th birthday. He had a pirate themed party. It's an easy game to grasp - Hide-n-seek and hot/cold. When you get warm and the X changes to yellow you are really warm. You almost have to be on top of it for it to change to red (hot). It's a fun game though. He likes it more when he hides it and mommy and daddy have to find it. I can see the novelty wearing off soon, but it's been fun.

My 3 grandchildren, ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2, love this! They take orders for sandwiches, then have a great time making them! The pieces are made from wood, so there is nothing to break.

My three year old daughter always makes a rush for mom's purse the moment I get in the door, so I decided to get her this one based on the reviews.

The purse itself is very cute, with a fuzzy pink handle. She loves the plastic lipstick, putting it on both her and mommy quite regularly. The mirror and keys are serviceable as well.

The few disappointments come when you get to the wallet and the phone...

At three, she is old enough to know that cell phones DO things and she tries to push the buttons on it. It's basically just one plastic piece so it is frustrating for her as nothing is movable on the phone. I'm not saying it needs to be electronic and beep, but it would have been nice to be able to push in the buttons. ... Read More:

There are other magnet dolls by Melissa and Doug, all equally as good! I wouldn't (like other reviewers) say Melissa and Doug's quality is top-notch on all their toys we had a hammer toy splinter apart and another "wooden" puzzle that was just thin sheets of wood glued one atop another to make each wooden piece chunky and we're constantly glueing that back down as each piece peels up BUT in the case of this toy it's SOLID. Even the magnet holds well to the wood, no peeling up, quite durable.

And you can't beat the Amazon price, free shipping, no sales tax, under $10. We paid $[...] at Barnes and Noble because that's where we first saw them and thought the idea was ingenious.

I ordered this from Amazon a year ago for a great price with the FREE super saver shipping, and it has gotten a lot of play. My now 2 1/2 year old daughter and her little friends all love to play kitchen and whip up some fun with this food. (I know the recommended age is 3 and up but in my opinion this is really fine for a 2 year old, maybe just watch the egg if they put things in their mouth still) I would definitely buy this again. Another great Melissa and Doug product!
