This toy was a success with our 6 year old who is now 8 and still plays with it. Kids can follow the instructions and make the tracks or easily create their own. Some he has done climb down the stairs and over chairs etc. Good toy, not total junk.

We got this set last Christmas. At the time it was almost completely ignored, and seemed too complicated to mess with. We had a big problem with them crashing down. Put it away for months. When I got it back out (I was thinking of selling it)and tried one more time; we started again. This time we watched the dvd that comes with it. We had made several mistakes. The two most obvious are not using the wood base plates on the bottom supports, and trying to make it go down using gravity. By building the sides level and letting the dropping motion move it forward you get a much more stable structure. By starting with small runs, and building on them, constantly testing the run as we built it...had a whole different experience. Our mistake at ... Read More:
This product has been out for several years now and still is a pretty popular toy. How it works is, you stack the plastic pieces together to make a maze for the marbles to got down. Some pieces are tubes, some are ramps and some have a wheel that the marble spins around on to get to the next section of maze. It takes some critical thinking to get the maze right and the use of small motor skills to get the sections together. It is really fun for home or a classroom. I do not recommend this toy for under the age of 5, however, because of small parts.

Lots of fun, well worth the cost. I got it for my 3 year old son and we spend lots of time him and I building all of the different structures possible with this set.

I bought this for my two 3 year old grandsons. They loved the marble action but it required pretty much constant attention from their parents as the structures are unstable and easily knocked over with a resounding crash. There are many variations in building design and lots of interesting pieces but construction is somewhat complicated, often requiring checks with the included design book. This game is really for older children or for young children with very patient parents.

This is a toy I love to take down from the shelf. My 3 and 5 year old boys love it! It is easy to build marble runs, watch your marble go, add on new pieces and they are using their brains all the while. This is a toy that will likely get even better for our boys as they get older and more able to engineer some multi level marble runs. For now, I mostly work with them so they aren't frustrated if the tower falls over as we build it. Its awesome!

Very High scores and the power dice adds a new fun dimension to the game. We love this game and play it often. The red power dice gives you options for multipliers, extra rolls, double scores, and lose your turn. The scores are very high and the new scorecard adds some extras spaces for more options. The object of the game is to be the first one to fill your scorecard and have the highest number of points. May need a calculator!
This is an awesome marble run! My twin daughters got this for Christmas. They were 6 years old at the time. They can easily put the pieces together themselves, and we have had no problems with pieces breaking. I do recommend the 250 piece set because then you have LOTS of pieces to work with. It is so versatile! It does take up our whole family room when almost all the pieces are used! My 2 year old LOVES to make the marbles go on the run once we get it built, so it is great for the whole family. Sometimes it does take an adult to help build a run that works, but parents should be spending time with their kids helping them learn. My girls can also assemble it themselves. The instruction booklet has lots of runs you can build or you can ... Read More:
