Hesitant at first about purchasing this for my 5 year old dinosaur-mad little girl. Happy that I did. Does all it's advertised to do. Put batts in and tried it out before wrapping it up for Xmas....had a ball just playing with it myself. Looks a little mean in the beginning but it plays, growls, bites his bone, walks around the house "looking" at things & comes when you call it. It's like an ugly puppy that somehow starts to look adorable. Has great facial(?!)expressions. My daughter is going to LUV this, and to me, seeing her so happy is worth the pricetag. Super toy!

I agree with the user who's husband was experiencing a second childhood. I bought Kota for the same reason! Many of the Aibo-knock off, digital creatures have been such a disappointment. They are often made of cheap quality plastic and have incredibly limited behavior that is hardly life-like. Kota struck me as a major exception. He's high-quality, easy to assemble, and his behavior is so lifelike that his sounds and movements have often startled me, when I entered my condo in the dark. The battery life is also decent, though I do wish he could be recharged like Spike. The only downside--if it is one--is my 2.5yo toddler is not so enthralled with Kota. That each stuffed animal comes with access to a fun website is a big plus and a large part of why you would pay what you pay for a small stuffed animal. However, the website is constantly down. The problems range from not being able to log on to being booted off after 1-2 minutes of play. A topic of conversation in our house is when one of the kids say, "Hey, I was able to be on Webkinz for over ten minutes today without being booted off." Ganz knows of the problem but rather than fixing the website pockets the profits. Do a websearch on webkinz or Ganz and you will see 100's of similar complaints. Oh, writing to Ganz gets you no response.

IF you know about webkinz, you might know about the e-shop (a online store where you can buy overly priced anamated items, and pets with out a stuff animal). People are taking avantege of others when they sell there anamated pets on ebay for more than they are worth. I just wanted to tell you all that you can buy this pets on the e-shop for $12.50, the speical pets(like the floral fox) are sold on certant days,like webkinz Wednesday,surprise Saturday,and super Sunday.

WEBKINZ - Yorkie

On-line at Webkinz this pet is adorable, but the actual Yorkie looks mangie...like a dust mop. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE. Its thin chopped up hair is cut at different lengths all over and is fugly. On top of that, it is very cheaply made unlike the other quality made webkinz pets that are cute and constructed well. Hide the Yorkie in a drawer and play the virtual Yorkie on Webkinz since it is so cute. I love the Webkinz site, it is great for kids and educational along with fun.

I bought Webkins Bullfrog. I bought it for my brother his birthday. He loved it. I recommend it because any child would love it if he/she loves computers and/or stuffed animals. You will be happy with your purchase.

WEBKINZ - Seal

The seal doesnt have much hair. In fact the "hairs" appear to be like string. It doesnt have much so the seal is a bit strangly or bald. Got ours and it already lost one string just after getting it out of its box and gently handling it.

My parrents got me a "Webkinz Hippo" for Christmas. I logged it on and was hooked. It comes with this cute little bathtub. Then my grandma got me a pig and "Black and White Cat" and I just bought a "Ally Cat", but my hippo is my favorite. Take my advice and buy it BUY IT BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!
