I purchased the PowerWing for my daughter for her 12th birthday, and it has really exceeded my expectations. She is quite good at most scooters and ripsticks, riding something almost constantly. The thing that I liked about this particular scooter, though, besides being very cool-looking, is that even I could ride it. It's actually very stable, but also very fun to ride. I definitely like it better than her Razor scooter.
We have three of these, one for each kid. They have been well used by all three children and have held up well to the use. They fold down to a very slim size that fits well under our seats or in our trunk. We have had them for some time and the children are able to fold them up and open them up without extra help from mom and dad (always a plus).
The one negative that I have found is that if you get the lever that is used to lock the scooter open (or closed) at all dirty it will jam and not open or shut very easily. A quick clean will fix this, but it is something to watch for.
A small adult can easily use this with no difficulties. If you are a heavier adult or tall, you might want to look for a sturdier scooter ... Read More:
I got this scooter for my son who has been riding a razor since he was two. He rides around the neighborhood and the skate park, and completely loves it. Best gift he's ever gotten.
Fuzion has a different take on scooters, with a tilting board that lets you carve. You don't just steer right left, you can actually lean the steering column to the side and tilt the deck (the place where you stand) to make it go where you want. It's great as a kid's only scooter or as a compliment to a Razor and skateboard.
The electron is the smallest and lightest of the fuzion scooters, which is perfect for tricks or if the rider is a bit younger. I ride it myself, and it takes my weight, but even my 5-year-old can easily handle it. ... Read More:
I bought the black one for my grandson but I bought myself the purple one. He hasn't gotten his yet because its for Christmas. We play on mine for now. I chase him on the scooter with my bicycle and the we switch and he chases me on his bike and I'm on the scooter. Great Great FUN!!!
I purchsed 2 of these scooters, one for my 9 year old step-son, the other for myself. While it is a little small for an adult it is sturdy enough for me to ride. The brakes are not the best, they tend to stick and not fully release, but we are not traveling at high rates of speed, so they will do. The scooter is a lot of fun. I am happy with the quality for the price I paid.
OMG! This thing is so much fun! I'm (censored) years old and I was looking for something more substantial than my kids' old Razor that I'd been using. I found this and I thought I'd give it a try. My other choice was a xootr but that thing is over $200 and looks like it's more of a fast commuter scooter.
The biggest difference between the Fuzion and a regular scooter is the ability of the Fuzion to carve. The footplate tilts and the rear wheels turn at the same time effectively giving you 4 wheel steering and the ability to bank your body. In practical terms it means you can steer by throwing your body around by moving your center of gravity just like on a skateboard or skiing. It is this which makes the Fuzion much more fun than a regular scooter. ... Read More:
I wanted a kick scooter for my commute, to speed me from car to train, metro to work. It needed to support a 5'11" guy with only moderate balance, and it needed to fold up small for the train. The Razor Pro scooter does all this.
The handle extends much higher than shown; probably high enough for someone taller than 6'2". The footboard is big enough for 1 foot, really, but your other foot will be busy elsewhere.
It also arrived intact and was easy to assemble. The only "problem" was a slightly misaligned grippy sticker that might make the points of tape tear off later, but that's not even on a place I'll ever set my foot.
I took off 1 star b/c Razor is so successful at failing to tell commuters how to ride it :-). If you watch ... Read More:
My son who is 9 loves it. All the neighbor kids want to ride it, which he won't let them. He has a huge smile when he gets on it. It is rather big for his age, but all ages can ride it. Best gift ever.
