Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (963326-0403)

For an hour it worked perfectly, but now it behaves as if its receiver is gathering interference from random sources. I have tried replacing the batteries but it is still going nuts. Noting like spinning in circles while you're getting IT handed to you in a paper bag.

Is it because it is wireless or because it's made by Logitech? This is the second wireless Logitech product I have bought that was a major disappointment. I will try some good old Duracell digital camera grade cells in this unit before I give up...

My 8-year-old daughter loves this. And I like it, too, because it is teaching her some logical reasoning in an entertaining setting.

I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two small flaws:
- you can't stop the game and save it at each level, you have
to get through a few. This makes it harder to have her stop
when it is time to go to bed / go to school / etc. For the parent's
sake, please make games easy to save at any point.
- getting all the zombini's forward is a bit repetitive. On the plus
side, though, this does make sure she really learns the lessons and
becomes adept at solving the logical puzzles.

If you have never used MS Office before then ignore this review, because you are unlikely to be bothered by the issues raised here.

As an advanced Excel user for nearly twenty years, I have to say that Microsoft has rolled out the software equivalent of new Coke.

Many professionals learned spreadsheets back in the 1980s when Lotus 123 enabled tremendous advances for ordinary business users. One of the great strengths of Microsoft Excel, when it became ready for Prime Time, was its ease of use for legacy 123 users. At that time, 123 was THE spreadsheet program for business and Excel was a newcomer trying to take market share.

Norton Ghost 14.0

Purchased Norton Ghost to provide a full system backup in the event of a hard drive crash. The installation went smoothly, things worked as advertised, backups have been accomplished but won't know the true picture unless I have a hard disk crash. I am not using this nor did I intend to use it for incremental data backups.

Acronis True Image Home 2009

I installed the trial version of this product after reading numerous positive reviews of it. I'm not sure what went wrong, but after doing my first backup and completing the other steps to create the disaster recovery environment, I got the dreaded BSOD. After trying several times and failing to boot into safe mode (or any other mode), I had to use Norton GoBack to restore my drive. Thank God I had that installed and that it worked. I won't try True Image again. Those who wish to should do so with caution.

Norton 360 Version 2.0

After installing Norton 360, I found that all of the data associated with Quicken on my PC was missing. I restored the Quicken information from backup. A few hours later, the Quicken data was gone again. I repeated this cycle a couple more times with the same results. I removed the Norton 360 software and have experienced no problems with Quicken since.

I contacted Norton Customer Support and calmly explained what had transpired. They told me this was not possible and hung up on me. I then e-mailed the company regarding the problem. After a week's worth of trading messages, they referred me to their Live Chat option for advanced support.
