Wow - is the new version of Rosetta Stone horrible. The logic that is used to go from lesson to lesson is utterly nonsensical and mind boggling. No prompts telling you to speak, listen, type - its tough enough to learn a language - never mind trying to figure out what the program wants you to do. If you are an older person who is not computer savvy - you're plain out of luck. Obviously there was ZERO/ZED user testing done on this sad excuse for a software program. Its confusing and I highly DO NOT recommend battling with this crap. Stay away.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac)

We had Photoshop Elements 2.0 for Mac and this is a whole new UI and a very slick program. It comes with a lot of graphics, etc. and takes up a bit of space but we find this covers ALL our Photoshop needs. We've worked with the full-on Photoshop and the learning curve is a pain, really. A big thumbs up for this.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2009

Software does not work correctly with Windows Vista. Terrible tech support! Tried multiple times to get fix and finally gave up in frustration. Tech support rep kept sending emails for problems that I did not have. I would not recommend this software to anyone.

Good Game. A lot of playing hours, and game development is according to your actions and choices. More than one way to solve a quest. Addictive. The fact that you can save almost on each point ease the game no matter what playing level you choose.

Saving interface is not comfortable, as you can not enter your own saving title.

Addictive!

World Of Warcraft Expansion: Burning Crusade

I have played this game for around two years and have multiple level 70 characters and thoroughly enjoy it. However the game is broken (as of october 2008) and unplayable at the moment due to horrendous lag issues and server shut downs. Check out the forums for more information, well no information really, but you'll see the scale of the problem:

My advice is avoid this game and the new expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King like the plague until the game becomes playable again. Just thought I'd save you some dollars and whole bunch of frustration.

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition FULL VERSION with SP2

this product arrived promptly, however had a blemish on the disk that caused only a portion of xp to load. after a series of helpful emails during which the seller tried to help me work around the problem;to no avail, he contacted microsoft on his own, without me asking, and got them to replace the item, which arrived promptly. it was rare for a disk to be defective as microsoft has excellent quality control. unfortunately, this has screwed up my apple so i have a portioned harddrive with a bad section of windows on it. (i have a mac) apple says its a windows problem, microsoft says its on a mac so its a mac problem. nobody knows how to fix it. inspect any software carefully prior to running to avoid a huge hassle.

It integrates well with Windows Vista (32 bit). It is virtually transparent. Setup is a breeze.
The re-license is a bit steep though - but it is comparable with the other suites. Seems to me that the re-up should be significantly less that buying the full product off the shelf.

I highly recommend this product.

Everything about World of Goo is top notch. From the beautiful, hand-painted art to the musical score, it's a quality piece of software that deserves your dollars. The two developers also deserve kudos for releasing a version of the game for linux, the increasingly popular open source operating system.

What a change from version 7.0. we recently updated and found 10 to be so much faster and accurate. It's amazing, really. And using Vista wasn't a problem.
