I am now cursing myself for not checking Amazon reviews first. As other reviewers have noted, this thing does not work with IE8 Beta installed on Vista. This is frustrating because McAfee website does not talk about this anywhere. Uninstalling IE 8 is another issue which is not to be discussed here. I would not recommend this to anybody. I had figure out myself about the IE 8 issue.

The Sims 2: IKEA Home Stuff

I've always thought the stuff packs were overpriced, I still think $19.99 is too much for the amount of stuff in the pack. But if you can find a good sale I'd say that this stuff pack should be first on your buy list.

Since buying Ikea Home Stuff I think I've used the items in most of my homes. It is a fantastic pack to have if you have Apartment Life too. It's a great way to furnish apartments on a budget.

So don't buy at the full retail price, look for a sale and you'll be quite pleased with the stuff pack.

I Spy Funhouse

My children (4 and 7) love playing ISPY. It keeps them busy for hours. This title is fun - you solve "riddles" and earn tickets to play games in the Fun House. One thing I particularly like is that the game is good for readers and non-readers alike. The riddles are written at the bottom of the screen, and children can click on words they don't know and the program will read them aloud. This sort of evens the playing field for my kids, and they enjoy playing together and separately. A great pick.

After playing Crysis I eagerly purchased Crysis Warhead. I returned the game without opening it after I found out it contained SecuROM DRM protection and required activation (which you can only do a limited amount of times).

A very fun game that is way too short. There are some anomalies like when my character gets stuck in walls and I have to commit suicide to restart. Or the shadows of dead Germans show throw the boxcars onto the ground.

A great concept with the upgrades for weapons and good quality on the realistic peak and shoot ability. The Quality Control department was ether low budget or unqualified and rushed to get it out on its release date. The rank is the same on every Soldier regardless of title which is annoying to a career Soldier.

Overall its fun and I am looking forward to a patch and expansion or second edition. As long as they keep it under 20 bucks unless, it's much longer than MofH AB.

My boys really enjoy this math game, however it seems pretty simple and they were able to finish the game relatively quickly. I think it is a good buy.

The Sims 2: Open for Business Expansion Pack

Our entire family plays The Sims 2 and we now own every expansion that has been released. The Open For Business expansion is the best in my opinion. This expansion allows you to run a business from your home or you can purchase a community lot and start a business there. There is so much on this expansion, you can start a retail business selling anything that can be purchased in the game, you could start a fitness club, pet store, flower store or a toy store just give a few ideas. This is by far the best expansion pack and it has entertained me for many hours.

Acronis True Image Home 2009

I purchased this product based upon positive reviews I had read. It appeared to work fine at first, but once the hard drive I use for backup became full, it failed even though I have it set to delete old backups. It also reports random errors in the log but then reports 'Success' in the end. This product does not appear to be reliable and I have no idea if my drive is actually backed up. Norton Ghost was far easier to use. This product is not recommended.
