Adobe Photoshop Elements 7

I ordered this product as an upgrade for my Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 program. This is an improvement over the older program and one I would recommend to anyone who is starting out with digital photography.

I like the more eye-friendly editing page. Icons are easier to read. More room is used for the actual work space for editing.

There are some pitfalls, if they can be seen as pitfalls.

Elements 7 requires more memory. Elements 7 takes up 383MB whereas my Elements 2 takes up only 88MB. People with older computers should take this into consideration; for owners of newer systems this should not be a problem. (Microsoft Vista, for instance, takes over 4000MB).

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2

I tried the previous version of Lightroom, but couldn't see much of an advantage over the free cataloging program that came with my Nikon cameras, so I uninstalled it.

This version is a different animal. I don't know whether to call it an image cataloging program with powerful image editor or an amazing image processing program with an intuitive cataloging feature.

Its library catalogs images across multiple drives with an enchantingly user-friendly interface. The enchanced previews allow you to sort the sharp from the not-quite-so-sharp at a glance. Keywording for a shoot can be accomplished in minutes thanks to the spray formatting feature. Enter or choose a group of words once, then apply them to multiple shots.

Adobe Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 7

This is a fantastic package solution. A must have for every home. The bundle includes a photo and video editor. Video editor is amazing, worked flaw less with HD videos. It can handle tapes, hdd and other high def media. It also can create Blu-ray and regular DVD. There are lot of templates for disc creation, any thing you can ask in a movie creation tool and more is included.

I dont have to say much about photoshop. It is the best photo editing software around. Any crummy digital picture can be turned into picaso painting. This is the best value for money in personal multimedia software. I dont think I will need another for a long long time to come. It also supports Vista.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 (Mac)

We had Photoshop Elements 2.0 for Mac and this is a whole new UI and a very slick program. It comes with a lot of graphics, etc. and takes up a bit of space but we find this covers ALL our Photoshop needs. We've worked with the full-on Photoshop and the learning curve is a pain, really. A big thumbs up for this.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Upgrade

The upgrade box costs more with every upgrade but there is less in it. Amazon frequently shows what's in the box, not here, however, probably because the only thing in the box is the CD/DVD. No more printed manual. Adobe is staking back on what it delivers. Some new features, but hardly worth the price.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 Upgrade

I have a registered, working version on LR1 on my XP system, and went to install this product (LR2). Unfortunately, I don't have my LR1 keycode - I usually write the keys when I first open the box (both on the cd and a master list of my keycodes that I keep in a cd case with the written-on cd) but I have accumulated a ton of them and misplaced LR1. It's probably around and I'll be able to fully register once it turns up, but bear in mind when you buy this that you'll need your original LR1 keycode to enter along with the one they send with LR2. One nice feature is that you can use it with full features for 30 days while you look for it! Other than the problem that I can't locate my key, it's a great program - powerful, easy to use functions for basic picture tweaking. Adobe Photoshop CS4

I called Adobe before I purchased PS CS4 from Amazon.com. They told me that Amazon is not an authorized dealer so "we would not give support" and then he curtly transferred my phone call to their Customer Service. The Customer Service told me the opposite and apologised for the lie.

I purchased it from Amazon and it was delivered as demanded except for a slight glitch. I had to cancel my doctor's appointment to receive the product because Amazon insisted on my physical signature. I called Amazon which was someone in INDIA who said that "presently, our systems are down, call back in two hours". I had to reschedule my appointment which got postponed for 3 weeks because the doctor is very busy. Not a good thing for my heart problem.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 [OLD VERSION]

Somehow missed the fact that we were buying the "Old Version". Did not realize that fact until the product arrived. Looks like Adobe is using the internet to unload unsold outdated inventory. Note that Garmin is doing the same thing with some of its GPS products. So far have been unable to upload the Photoshop program into my wifes new laptop with Vista. So, at this point unable to rate.

Adobe Acrobat Standard 9

The installation of Adobe Acrobot Pro 9 Trial Version took so long that I sadly decided to cancel the installation half way through. It was almost like installing a new Windows! I decided it's better to stick to the good old CutePDF Writer for now which is by the way free and less than 2MB in size (not 326MB). I use a WindowsXP with 2GB of ram and a 3.4GHz Intel Pentium4 processor.

I hate buying something for a minor part (Camera Raw), but the rest of CS4 is a great upgrade.
