LIke many Mac users, I'm a big fan of iWork; however, as I work in a school that is entirely PC based and which upgraded to Office 2007, having Office 08 means that I can now open attachments and send attachments without worrying about cross-compatibility issues.
I don't use Excel, so I can't say much about that, but PowerPoint and Word seem to work just as well as the PC based 07 versions, when I do use them. I don't like the layout of Word for Mac, it just doesn't make sense, the same is true for PowerPoint. iWork is a much more intuitive program with, IMO, many more options.
Having said that, this program does what I need it to do--gives me the ability to share files between home and school and to accept files ... Read More:

I've had problems installing eps before so I did a backup just in case and good thing I did because it installed fine but I lost all my downloads. Fortunately I put them back and all is well cuz we all know that the games are severely limited in their objects and hair, etc. The game itself is not a huge difference for me because I use the motherlode cheat so my sims can have any house I want and I don't really like playing the apartments since you are limited in customization. BUT I love having the butler and the helicopter, and the magic stuff, very cool. All my sims are getting the butler. All in all, worth the money unless you are going to be one of the first to get Sims3, then you might want to just wait. Personally I'm going to wait and ... Read More:

Quickbooks don't have any free customer service or tech support (only paid), and they won't give you a refund if you're not satisfied. Once you pay them, it's over a hundred dollars down the drain. And their program doesn't work with Microsoft Windows but instead of fixing it they say Microsoft is to blame. Yikes! I thought they were a reputable company.
