Word does not work well with Outlook. Is very cumbersome and doesn't work well with Outlook when making envelopes from my contact list. I guess I'll have to address all my christmas cards buy hand.

I read reviews and checked out the mactopia site so I knew what I was getting. I was trying to decide between iWork and MS office because of the better pricing on iWork. At my office I use office 2007 on a pc and I needed to be able to continue working on Word documents at home. Office 2008 for Mac allows me to do this but because it lacks support for VBA some functions do not work on the mac product. It is a minor annoyance that I work around and the same goes for Excel. In the end it allows me to easily create study notes and write great looking documents that are easy to read. iWork says that it is compatible with Office but after trying the demo and using it to open word documents it could not carry over a good amount of formatting. I had read mixed reviews about MS Office for the Mac and was reluctant to install it on my MacBook Pro. As it turns out, my fears were unfounded. It does have a different look than the Windows version and takes a little getting used to . I am pleasantly surprised with the speed of the applications as I had read that it was a bit sluggish. Not the case at all. It is very zippy and the few docs and spreadsheets that I've experimented with have migrated back and forth between my Mac and PC with no problems, so far. I'm not sure that it is worth buying, however, if you already have IWorks on your Mac, since you can export all of your files to a PC from the iWork applications. This Seller/Merchant was a new launch, set up to TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. BEWARE of this Seller/Merchant and other NEW LAUNCHES, on this and other AUCTION SITES. Because Amazon.com gives the Seller/Merchant more than 3 weeks to respond to a sale, instead of scaling that down to 3 days like other sites command, this gives the Seller/Merchant ample time to collect the funds, access your account, take possession of your money, then close all accounts (transfering the funds to another Account/Bank) making collection efforts virtually impossible. Microsoft Outlook 2007

I've been using Outlook daily (if not hourly) for 10+ years. It's a great program.

I bought Outlook 2007 because I recently bought Office 2007 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and I found that my Outlook 2003 could not use Word 2007 as its email editor.

I kept Word 2003 for that purpose, but Outlook 2003 was constantly confused with Word 2003 and Word 2007 on the same machine. I had to reboot lots of times, unnecessarily.

Outlook 2007 can use Word 2007 as its email editor, and this is a helpful function. I've now deleted Outlook 2003 and Word 2003, and everything works as it should.

Windows Live OneCare 2.0 (Up to 3 Users)

It integrates well with Windows Vista (32 bit). It is virtually transparent. Setup is a breeze.
The re-license is a bit steep though - but it is comparable with the other suites. Seems to me that the re-up should be significantly less that buying the full product off the shelf.

I highly recommend this product.

What a change from version 7.0. we recently updated and found 10 to be so much faster and accurate. It's amazing, really. And using Vista wasn't a problem.

Quicken Deluxe 2009

this is the first time i've used quicken and i think it's terrible. it picks and chooses what transactions to download from my accounts and is NOT user friendly. i consider myself pretty computer savvy and able to problem solve, but this program is confusing and does not come with an instruction manual. worst purchase i've ever made.

I was excited to recieve the product however, even though it stated that it works with Windows Vista it does not if your computer is a 64 bit computer. If the program works it works very well but you may sometimes have to reset the speaking mode. It is though a program worth having once you work out all the bugs.

Ordered product never arrived, repeated emails without response, and a filed complaint with Amazon and no satisfaction leave me feeling ripped off! I'll NEVER order another product for my business through Amazon.
