This is the second best thing I have ever bought for my dogs. My 40 lbs is deathly afraid of the hose, but he will sit while I bath him with this. It seems some people expect this to lather like you were washing your hair. NO, it dispense soap with the water, washing against the hair. Washing and rinsing are very easy, a flick of the button. I have good water pressure at my house, so this is a great, and easy way to wash your dogs.

We have a doorway between the front room and kitchen that must be a non-standard width, because the gate alone is a smidge too small, but when we added the extension, the whole unit wouldn't fit in the doorway. It would be better design if there was an overlap of about 1/2" between the two sizes.

I never received this item because I ordered direct from the "As Seen on TV" website. After ordering, I discovered that the shipping charges were $15.00 and tried to cancel. I was never able to get a live person on the phone and the website does not have any other way to contact them--no email contact. Then a few days later, we received a phone call from someone that got our number from "As Seen on TV" trying to sell us earrings. Now it has been 13 days and we have not heard from them or received the item. We called again and were not able to speak to a person. Called again and finally spoke with someone. I was so skeptical that this would work for me. I have a crazy 2 year old golden retriever (70 pounds). I tried to bike while holding his leash...it was a disaster. So I tried this Walky Dog, and now we bike every day. I don't know why it works, frankly, because it seems like he should be able to wreck us pretty easily. but no, it's awesome. you have to make sure you realllly tighten the clamp, and I found that it's much better if I use his harness. when i clipped it to his collar, he almost choked himself trying to run. But after we figured out the harness, he can run full blast next to the bike, slows down when i brake. the only challenge we still have is taking sharp turns. This gate fell several times. I ended up sending this gate back after it hurt my daughter's foot. The Evenflo SimpleStep, although an unattractive taupe color, is less expensive and of much better quality.
