As an owner of 3 Goldens we often find hairballs floating about the house. Both my wife and I work at the University so we regularly show up to work with dog hair stuck on our clothes and having our students point it out to us. We've used many grooming tools that have failed to remove the dead fur from our pets until we purchased the Furminator. I was quite amazed that the first time we used it we got almost a full garbage bag of fur from our three dogs that I know would have ended up turning into tumble weed in our home or being stuck onto our clothing. This product is worthless. I tried it and my dog accepted the noise and so on. But it does NOT work, it does not have enough power. with very light pressure it would take off just a little of the nail, but to do the whole ONE nail properly would by my estimate take at least 10 minutes and NO dog would hold still that long. As soon as one puts on a little more pressure to take off nail matter a little quicker, the thing would bog down and even stop. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT for that reason. I even put in two new fresh batteries and then tried two more new fresh ones just in case. the machine is just too weak.

We got our first kitten in July. My husband had never wanted a cat because of the shedding issue. As soon as we got her, I bought the furminator and we LOVE it! Our cat enjoys it and usually falls asleep while I furminate her. (I do it about every four days and it takes me about 10 minutes) We do not have a shedding issue in our house and it is supposed to reduce allergens by 80% (although I cannot swear to that). It is easy to use and the amount of hair that is removed is remarkable. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with cats!

Oster Nail Grinder 078129-101

The tool does exactly as it says. But you must work with your dog alot to get them use to the noise and feel of the grinder. I massaged my dog's feet everyday for a week before the oster arrrived. This helped for my dog to get use to my touch and the practice that I wasn't going to hurt him. Then once the oster arrived I massaged his feet with the oster OFF. Then for the following week I massaged his feet with the oster turned on at different levels, but I didn't groom his nails. Then finally about 2 weeks ago I was able to grind his nails with ease. Again, this is a great tool for grinding nails, however you have to work with your dog and have a great deal of patience.

PETICURE Petite Pet Nail Trimmer As Seen On TV

There are a few problems with this item. The sandpaper bands slips down while trying to use it on the pet's nail. Even while trying to grind the nail for half a second, the motor will slow down and the band will slip off. I just gave up using it and feel like it was money wasted. I'm a very experienced dog owner and am good at using tools -- I'm going back to the Dremel.

Do not order from Discount Pet Supply. They sent the wrong product. I want them to pay the return shipping due to the fact that they sent the wrong product. I will never order from them again! I wish I had know that they can not read, they sent me the shampoo, I ordered the Waterless shampoo. There customer service is terrible. I give them 0 stars.

I never received this item because I ordered direct from the "As Seen on TV" website. After ordering, I discovered that the shipping charges were $15.00 and tried to cancel. I was never able to get a live person on the phone and the website does not have any other way to contact them--no email contact. Then a few days later, we received a phone call from someone that got our number from "As Seen on TV" trying to sell us earrings. Now it has been 13 days and we have not heard from them or received the item. We called again and were not able to speak to a person. Called again and finally spoke with someone. This is the second best thing I have ever bought for my dogs. My 40 lbs is deathly afraid of the hose, but he will sit while I bath him with this. It seems some people expect this to lather like you were washing your hair. NO, it dispense soap with the water, washing against the hair. Washing and rinsing are very easy, a flick of the button. I have good water pressure at my house, so this is a great, and easy way to wash your dogs.
