I've own one of these for the past five years, and they are great. There is nothing better than being able to know how hot or cold it is outside, while I am getting ready for work. I recently bought one of the units that give you the three day weather forcast. I wasn't sure how much better it would be, but it is nice, being able to know wheather it will be sunny, cloudy or rainy. (We don't get much snow down in Memphis)

But anyway, the reason I'm writing is because of the problem people have mentioned with the outdoor temperature not showing up. You really have to follow the directions correctly. I've looked at rechargeable batteries as a solution for a long time, but always from a distance. Three years ago, I picked up a $20 retail store charger and battery combo and took it for a spin. Within a month, the batteries wouldn't hold a charge. I didn't understand it and didn't research at the time, so I tossed it all.

Recently, I started looking at rechargeables again. Between Xbox 360 controllers, remotes, and cameras, rechargeables just seemed to make sense if they could ever work right. That's when I went into overdrive research mode and realized that my retail store charger was overcharging and destroying batteries. Everything lead me back to the BC-900. I'm totally satisfied.

This is a great mobile unit with its out side sensor, great for RVing, camping & boating, has acceptable range of transmission. So whats not to like. Easy to set up clear instructions. Four out of Five stars not perfect but what is!!!

This item was easy to set up. Make sure you use fresh battiers otherwise it will affect the signal strength to the remote. Also before you mount the remote make sure you can get a signal to the station.I just set the remote on the fence near the desired location and if the signal worked then I mounted it. Only things that is strange is that the outside temperture reading somethings is way off; but it soon correct it self. It does what I needed it to do!

I use it before I go out to know otside currect temperature. I have 2 weather stations one in my bedroom and one in the office. Very accurate and reliable.

We moved and couldn't find the remote sensor so I purchased a new one. It has worked well except after I first insalled it, it quit working and I had to reset it. So far, it has been working fine. I've had it for over a month now.

We love having the time and outside temperature showing on our ceiling at night, Just wish they showed at the same time instead of going on and off separately but still love the clock.

Works fine and arrived quickly. The only disappointment was there's no way to illuminate display at night (but I haven't checked with manufacturer yet). Remote sensor works fine in our challenging situation.

Well, it's silver, not white but that's okay. We've had it almost a month. The temperature readings, inside and out, are accurate. Pressure reading is close. Weather forecast is laughable. We've had a week of screaming sunshine and dry warm autumn weather. Yet every day, the weather station forecasts rain and shows the word "wet".

It would have been very helpful if Oregon Scientific had added a backlight option. Though the numbers are large, it is difficult to read. If you pick up the device to get a closer look, it blanks out. We keep a flashlight nearby.

We really love the projection clock, but it seems when the temperature gets down to 40 or below the signal doesn't work, so you will see --- instead of the temp. However, I would still buy this clock.
