I purchased 3 sets of these lights to use as uplighting around the front of my home. I am impressed with the amount of light that these put out and how easy they are to install. Not enough to "shine" through the windows to disturb the darkness but a nice glow to illuminate the landscape. I am going to order 2 more sets for each side, they look kind of bare compared to the front. They are in no way as bright as the electic powered lights but they are just as pretty. I put them out today and a couple of my neighbors approched me this evening and asked me "who did your lighting"...

Nice firepit, deeper than most you find in local stores so you can stack a decent amount of firewood. Workmanship could be a little better on the paint and having to punch out the holes (from the machining debris) for the ring. But overall it's a great firepit for someone who wants a medium sized and portable.

After having spent almost a 100 dollars on long strands of solar lights with a large light sensor... and having them get water logged in three months and dying on me, I'm pleased that these have so far lasted a whole year. I've order more to drape along the fence on my patio. Just a note--these are intended for ambiance, not light. They are so atmospheric. I also have these on two alberta spruce trees and they look so lovely at night.

We ordered this nightlight because we often lose power in the winter in the middle of the night. We hoped that this would give us enough light to fire up our flashlights and the woodstove. But we found that it is more than a nightlight that turns on when the power goes off. My husband is often up very early to go to work and the extra light from the LED that is motion sensitive gives him enough light to gather his clothes on his way to the shower without waking me up. When we pull it out of the socket, the nonelectric flashlight gives off plenty of light to navigate in the darkness. We have purchased more of these lights as stocking stuffers for our living room,our kids and our camper.

I was skeptical about purchasing this set because of the reviewer's comments about missing and flimsy parts and very dull light.

I received my set in great condition with no missing parts. The set is plastic, but it is not at all flimsy. You can't pound them into the ground with a hammer, but they go in with little trouble. I am in an area with red clay almost as hard as concrete and used a 12 inch spike to start the hole and it worked fine.

The box does have a lot of parts, but if you follow the directions they go together pretty easy. The only problem I had was with 6 of the tier lights. I wanted something for my garage out in the back yard, thought this would be great since there is no power out there. The light works fine, for now, but it is bovious that it is not constructed well at all. It is no very bright, but enough so you don't trip over stuff. It was very easy to install, and yes, they should have given instructions as to what to do with the metal rod. Took me a minute to figure out that it is an optional brace for the solar panel. If it cost any more, I would pay for the shipping to return it. I would NOT buy another one from this company, but DO PROMOTE the use of solar power in any way possible.

First of all we love Amazon.com. These lights came in 2 days! My husband and I put them together; no missing parts and everything went together like it was supposed to. The only thing that wasn't quite clear was that the transformer has to be 10 feet away from the first light. We also spliced into the wire which was okay too. The lights are so nice across the front of our house (on both sides) and they automatically come on and off every night. Neighbors commented how nice they look. Little spotlights are nice too and can be adjusted to shine across your walkway. Would buy again!
