This product worked exactly as promised. The laser had an extremely long range. It would be great for long distance use but keep in mind that the green laser is really intense and not suitable for up close use. I bought this product for presentations, and had to return it because it was too intense of a beam. But the laser pen was very comfortable and well designed.

This product looks beautiful.

But after 4 months of use, it's started to become cranky. After 7 months, the fan starts whistling and complaining. The actual design of the base was pretty poorly thought out. To make it stand on a table, you need to pull out a small support from the bottom, and the little hold that you need to insert your finger to pull out that support is located right above the fan and is made for really tiny sturdy fingers. My fingers aren't really large, yet I find it difficult to get a grip on that small hold at the back - I almost need to use my nail to pull it out and even then its hard to pull out. The shredder works great. Sometimes if you only put one sheet of paper in you have to move it around before the sensor picks it up. It does a great job shredding CD's and old credit cards. :)

I think this is an excellent value--it won't do color printing, but I'm sick of getting ripped off for ink cartridges: I'm willing to settle for grayscale.

The scanner is quite slow, but if you make sure to check the box "Display the Scanner Driver," you'll find pretty competent scanning functionality.

The warm-up time is amazingly fast, and the copy functions are solid. I haven't tried the fax functions.
