I love this item. Even though I haven't taken it out of the box yet, the pictures look great and all the functions listed on the label sound really really cool!

If you need a ink cartridge for your HP - get the actual HP brand and get the larger quantity size. It is worth it for the print quality is better (and will remain better - based on own tests and after reading reviews written in computer magazines) and it was great knowing that there is more ink available before I had to replace it. The regular cartridges are just not sufficient for my printer usage. The vendor working through Amazon definitely gave me a great price even with shipping costs as compared to what I found a local retailers. Let's hope this continues in order to make it a definite win-win situation in keeping my relatively new HP printer well stocked in ink!

So I currently have Canon i9900 photo printer that is great. It is our only printer, so when my daughter wants to print coloring pages from the Internet, it can be expensive with the i9900 creating black from all of the expensive cartridges. With that in mind we wanted to find a laser all-in-one so that we would occasionally scan and frequently print double-sided pages.

After reading reviews on the MF4150 I went to my local Staples and
purchased the unit. The unit hooked up to my Vista machine without issue and I was able to get it to work within minutes. This thing is a real pain to use.
They've changed the "Function key" format from previous generations, which used to work similar to a standard laptop keyboard FN button.
Press the function/code key, and each regular key had a corresponding FN "blue line" above it.
No more.
Now you must click the function key multiple times, to scroll through all the available functions. AND, to boot, the default function for "clear all" is to "Clear the text and the for font", which will reset the font to the Largest size. Many more keystrokes, for what used to be simple.
I'd equate the key functionality, to the Microsoft Office 2007 upgrade, a slap in the face to users who were used to a product that worked.

There are many cheap knock offs out there but none that can go the distance against a Sharpie. The durability of Sharpie markers is absolutely second to none. I bought this bag and thought that it was a good solution, small and light, yet big enough to slip in both my laptop and a book.
Well, don't try putting that book in there. After just over two months of ownership I was walking along and the shoulder strap pulled out sending my computer plunging down to the concrete. The stitching that secured the shoulder straps had come out.
Do not buy this bag, if it can barely last me for two months, it certainly cannot last the test of time.

Readers should be aware that the printer stops printing as soon as any of the colors run out of ink, including black and white. This means that if you run out of Cayan, you cannot print a word document....their explanation is that for every page a little color is used, regardless of whether you are just printing black and white. The color cartridges are quite expensive, run out quickly when the machine is used for photos, and the 68 cartridges which hold more ink cannot be widely found, other than at epson site or staples.
