Black plastic is very sturdy--looks like it will last forever. Handle is 4 inches long, 1.75 inches wide at the ends, 1.5 inches wide in the center. Weighs almost 1 lb. Jingles are loud, bright. I like hitting the inner circle with the pad of my hand, and then stroking the top circle with my fingers as I pull the tambourine away--gives an extra little "twrrr".

Amigo 1/2 Size Classical Guitar for Kids or Children

When our son decided he wanted to take guitar lessons instead of piano like his older brother I was a little nervous. But we found a good classical guitar instructor and went shopping for his first guitar. I read every review for every 1/2 size guitar I could find here and other forums. I bought this one. My son loves it, but more importantly his teacher loves it. It is the perfect size for my 7 year old and it holds tune very well. The first few weeks he had it tuned everyweek because the strings were still streching, but it now sounds great. It has 3 nylon and 3 steel strings, typical for this type of guitar. If you are looking for a guitar for a serious student then this is the one. You'll love it!

Yes they are cheap, look like any other mouth harp, but you won't get a sound of them.

Signature Music 2810N Closed 16-hole Flute

I played the flute in middle and high school....I haven't played in 6+ years now. So, when my church wanted me to play for them, I whipped out my old flute...and it didn't work. Thankfully I found this flute, it is excellent....the tone and quality are great and the price is even better.

Rogue Ukulele Starter Pack

I usually buy 5 of these on sale at musician's friend with free shipping for $100 when they are on sale for $20 each. The plain soprano ukulele has everything that the starter kit has except a pitch pipe. Pitch pipes can be had for an extra $5 for a cheapie. Then I jazz these well-built basic ukes up a little: I replace the plastic nut and saddle with BONE and add a set of Aquila Nylgut strings and that helps the instrument sound really nice! While the strings are off I get some rubbing compound and make the ukulele shiny too. In short, this is the cheapest way to get a playable ukulele... give it a try.
