Hohner Rectangular Hardwood Woodblock

This is an excellent, non-threatening little percussion instrument for school music activities, drama productions, and / or drum circles. They always seem popular with my students when we do music and / or rhythm exercises. The woodblocks have a nice, rich sound, especially when you find their "sweet" spot.

This mandolin is great for a beginner. The finish is lovely and it sounds nice. The strings that come on the mandolin are really cheap and I really suggest that you invest in a new pair of strings. I definitely would recommend this for anybody wanting to learn how to play the mandolin.

The first review here is a little cofusing so I'll try to clarify with my experience. I purchased this guitar through amazon with free shipping and could not be happier. Neck is well done, no issues whatsoever with quality control. Built in boost/OD is great for what it is inteded for. This guitar is made to be a great portable guitar you can plug into your car or computer stereo, or regular amp. The pickups are just fine and you can get some nice sounds from the effect/boosts.
This is not a $2000 Gibson or anything, but truth be told it's put together well, holds tuning, sounds great, feels great, and it's worth $400. I and my son who plays pick this one up often and noodle around.

Very sturdy construction and sounds great. Cant beat the price. I thought it was standard practice to include a cleaning stick to help with the spittle, but this did not.

I purchased this harmonica after much research, and, initially, was very pleased with it. However about two months into playing it, the "D" note went flat. I was quite frustrated, and even more so to find out that Amazon offers no recourse. One can neither return this item nor replace it after 30 days, esp. if it's been used. From what I understand Amazon offers no warranty re: defective products.

I bought this as my first harmonica. I am by no means a harmonica expert, so I read a plethora of reviews and background info on the instruments before buying this one. I bought it because I heard it would be easy to learn on, I knew Hohner has the best reputation (only rivaled by oskar lee) and I wanted a harmonica with a wooden body.

So far I am beyond pleased and even to my untrained ear the sound is rich.

I ordered the "Lauren" 30 inch Guitar Package as a joke gift for my girlfriend, who shares the name of the manufacturer. For twenty some odd dollars I certainly wasn't expecting anything remotely close to sub-par, at least as far as guitars are concerned. But what came in the mail really wasn't too bad.

The tuners are cheap but they hold tune, mostly, unless you bend too far. The body, as well as the head and neck, feel like pine, which is fine because I wasn't expecting koa or something nice. The paint job isn't too bad, except for the few nicks I found, which were easily covered with black sharpie. I was so disappointed in the fact that the guitar didn't come with any picks or a strap- I didn't realize it when ordering, or I would have ordered that, too. My son had trouble holding it without the strap... when I finally got around to buying those items, I showed the guitar to my brother, who has been playing for 30 years, and he said it didn't stay tuned. once you play a chord, it goes out of tune. I'm not thrilled, to say the least.
