LMI 25 Note (G-G) Bell Set with Case

The quality of this product is great for the price. I was hoping it would be an item that my kids might have for several years or more. The main problem is the piping tears easily and once it starts tearing, the kids pull it out. I am going to try to replace the piping, but not sure if I will be able to find the right material.

Also, the lid opens to about 115 degrees or so and I wish it would either open all the way or detach.

My complaints are mainly if you are considering purchasing the product for a child 4 or under, otherwise I have no problem recommending this product.

ahhhhh it came in the mail. i ordered the angel light blue and this product.
in comparison, the light blue has this piping that makes the bells sound MUCH longer!

so i would advise if youare as absurd as i am about things you own, to go buy piping or somethign else besides the felt softner that they include withthis.
trust me you willbe so much more in bliss .

I purchased enough tambourines for my 2-year class in the Children Center were I work. They are the judges for this item. The plastic began to rip/tear the first week; however, I am removing the plastic as they rip. The tambourines are still a nice addition to our music section without the plastic. The children simply love to play them, and they are used all day long every day. The plastic is not necessary.

This is a very nice sounding instrument, especially for the price!! It is very enjoyable to play and comes with a nice soft case and fingering chart, cleaning rod and cork grease! If you want to buy an Alto Recorder this is a great one to select.

we have several recorders in a variety of price ranges, and this one sounds better than most. it has a warm tone, doesn't squeak or sound like a whistle, and comes in a nice protective zipper pouch.

only thing to keep in mind is that this is a 2-piece recorder, which means that the hole at the top is in a fixed position. if you prefer to adjust yours, get a 3-piece - otherwise this is the one to get.

LMI Deluxe Full-Zipper Recorder Case

I really liked this recorder case. It is beautiful, and it fits loosely and protectively around my recorder while leaving room for me to store my recorder cleaning rod and my recorder cream along side it. The zipper that runs all the way down the side makes it very convenient and easy to get my recorder in and out of it, and although this case is not hard and therefore floppy, I think my recorder is better protected in it than in the recorder bag that it originally came in and that I have been storing it in up until now.

LMI 3-Piece Tenor Recorder with Baroque Fingering

The only fault I could find was that the thumb support is a bit small for my huge hands. The tone is very resonate sounds like high quality wood.
I could recommend this without hesitation for anyone with hands big enough to reach the holes. Not for small children!

It seems well made, has all necessary spare parts etc to make it easy to maintain. It should last me the rest of my life. Looking forward to a lot of enjoyable hours playing for my grandchildren.
