I love the idea and concept for this toy, but is it worth $60?! No. My daughter received this as an early christmas gift. She loves Elmo so she was very happy to get it, and to play with it. There are some problems with the toy, however. The buttons other than the foot are too hard for my 20 month old to push. Also, she can't play with him on the carpet, otherwise he will fall over. You need to have him on a hard floor or table for him to work right. The "chair" is a joke as elmo does not need it and doesn't even sit on it. It's a waste of plastic. Yes, the gears are loud but it doesn't bother me too much. If this toy was $20 I would have given it 5 stars all the way since my daughter loves it.
