Product Description: God Of War II continues that thrilling and bloody tale of Kratos, the mortal warrior who challenged the war god Ares for his throne. He succeeded, but his journey does not end there. In God Of War II he rules over war, far more ruthless than Ares ever was. To end his continued torment, Kratos must journey to the far reaches of the earth and defeat untold horrors and alter that which no mortal, or god has ever changed, his fate. God of War II sets an epic stage for a devastating mythological war to end all wars.

This games is just as good as the first one if not better. I would recommend it.

God of War II is a visually stunning odessy filled with everyone's favorites of blood, sex, and unadulturated violence. The game designers really pushed what the PS2 can do, which makes you wonder what they'll do when the sequel comes out for PS3. Excellent voice acting and beautiful landscapes makes the linear level setup barely noticable. While the actual area you have to roam around in isn't close to something like Grand Theft Auto, it never feels that way. You always feel like your in a huge area. With a starting boss fight that wouldn't be out of place as an ENDING boss fight for other games, God of War II pushes . . . no slices through every boundary it can.

This game along with God of War are not only the best games to come out for the PS2 but are actually the best games to come out for any system period. I mean that!!! You are not just holding a controller and just going along in a game but you are actually immersed in the action sweating as though you are running for your very life from these massive creatures in these games. If you do not or have not played these games you are missing out big time!!!!

There were small things keeping God of War from being an entirely fluid experience, and yet it was still a blast to play. God of War II effectively eliminates these issues, and -- unless you've already had your fill of Square-Square-Triangle combos -- this title is one of the best overall action experiences you'll find.
God of War never prided itself on the discipline and challenge that Devil My Cry and Ninja Gaiden present. Its focus is on making sure you don't have to work incredibly hard to feel like you're unstoppable (at least on normal difficulty). What makes up for this lack of challenge, though, is the sheer entertainment value of feeling in control of every slash of your blade in creating a massive multi-hit combo that lays ... Read More:
