Absolutely topnotch fun, gotta love the fighting animation and the beautiful panoramic views. Runs great on 4870X2 everything full res and settings.

the end was kinda sudden.. didnt want it to finish, but one ill play again in the future without any aggro from DRM limited activations...

Thanks for a great game Ubi, EA should pay attention when their shares plummet from their evil DRM.

This game is great and the space stage is amazing there is over 50,000 planets. So I don't know how people can say that they should have spent more time making the game. They spent 10 years making it!!!!!!!!

I was a big fan of the original game, and Clear Sky is similar and different enough to make this one worth your while.

If you have a top-end video card, the game engine is highly impressive in DX10 mode, but you will need a top-of-the-line video card to see it. I have an 8800GT paired with a Core2Duo and 4GB of RAM, and my setup is creaking under the strain. Tweakguides.com has a very good configuration guide which will show and describe exactly how to modify the graphics engine to best effect - I strongly suggest you read it.

Sins Of A Solar Empire (PC)

Not only is this a great game (check out the reviews for it) it is also published by a company that respects its cash paying customers.

After reading the review, i decided i couldnt wait for UK release, so i bought online in the USA, downloaded it, then shortly after the DVD arrived in the post.

Its a very deep RTS, kinda like Homeworld 2 but more intense and more deep. If you like Homeworld 2 your gonna love this game.

On the subject of DRM... Stardock's policy is to sell its games without horrible SecureROM or other evil harmful malware/data mining software being included. Crysis Warhead (PC DVD)

I always check the reviews on Amazon before considering buying a game. In this case it's done me a favour. I liked the first Crysis game and I'd probably like this one. But there's plenty of other games to keep me going and I won't buy this unless I have an unlikely change of heart :such as a re-release without DRM.

ok, most the comments are about how bad Amazons delivery service is, so im going to make it about the GAME.

but first, yes idigo starfish is a jersey company, and games I could imagine would arrive late as they get shipped from jersey, but don't be annoyed at amazon.

I actually live in jersey so I get stuff early, not meaning to brag, but jersey is VAT free so its much cheaper for them to send popular individual orders (like personal orders of games/dvds), its jsut business sense, no matter how much you will complain that's how there business operates.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir - Expansion (PC)

I have to say that I'm amazed. Unlike with the original game, the two campaigns in the expansions to NWN2 really feel like they're something new and original as opposed to something anyone could have created using the toolset. The new overhead map feature is a remarkable thing; exploration is encouraged as the marker points on the map don't appear until you've actually found a place. Also, skills such as 'Spot', 'Listen' etc actually have a purpose now as they improve your ability to move on the overhead map and find hidden secrets and places. A minus point here is that all the secret places to find usually consist of about one or two rooms instead of the vast places of Baldur's Gate, but they're still nice to pop into on your way back to a quest giver.

what can i say that others have not.... if you like war ,,, get this,, its great. the modern scene that we can relate too makes it better that cod 2. having just bought cod 5, WAW, i think cod 4 offers more realism in todays world. very addictive and good fun in both single and multiplayer. i spent 5 onths away from her playing it. the barret rifle rocks!,lol

i've played this game from release date (not Beta) and now have 3 lvl 80 characters and i have to say that i think a lot of the reviews are a little harsh (or just out dated). as always with mmos like this there are going to be teething problems early on. i agree with most that it was released way too early and still needed much work in the beta stages, pre-order codes not working etc, but....
for those of you who haven't played it at all or haven't for a while we are now really talking about a different class of game. lag, crashes, bugs are much reduced. (i played and loved wow from release date too and there are still issues with it to this day), there has been a lot of fine tuning in various aspects of the game too.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask Of The Betrayer Expansion Pack 1 (PC DVD)

I am quite frankly amazed that there are people who don't like this. The story is superb, keeping you hooked throughout. The only story that you could compare it to would be that of the legendary Baldur's Gate 2, and we all know how good that was.

Do not be put off by the occasional person moaning about bugs and the like. I personally have never experienced a major bug with either this or the original game, and any potential bugs have been significantly ironed out with the latest patches.
