A minor point perhaps, but this isn't a figure of Otacon. Hopefully anybody who's considering buying it would notice that, but the seller should probably re-title the page Octocamo Snake rather than keep it as Otacon!

This could very well be the best video game ever made. Never before has a game shown so much character development and such a great job of storytelling - yes, it's linear, and yes it does use a lot of cut-scenes; and simply, that's why it's so darn good. The gameplay is solid but the cut-scenes make this title something far more than a game.

Hideo Kojima is the only one who truly gets it. He's the Spielberg of video-games.

I was blown away. You owe it to yourself to buy this game.

I never normally buy guides, and this is the first time I have. Strangely enough I bought it after I completed the game- as a friend had recommended it, and I have now gone back to the campaign and completed it again, and again, whilst discovering loads of cool stuff.

The guide is extremely detailed and gives you a step by step guide to completing the Big Boss extreme difficulty, which I have now subsequently completed. The guide also shows you numerous 'easter eggs' and gives a detailed guide to the story as I had no idea what was going on throughout the campaign. Thankfully I now understand the story thanks to the guide- unfortunately the first time I completed the story I fell asleep during the final cutscene, and it didnt help that ... Read More:

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PS2)

This isn't a review because I haven't played the game, but wanted to point something out that's stopped me buying it myself (please forgive me for rating this game, but amazon won't let me post a 'review' without doing so!)...

Despite what the product description here still says the online servers for this game have now been scrapped, and it's no longer possible to play online whatsoever.

I'm sure it's still a great game, but with no online gameplay (which was what I was really after) I'll be saving my hard-earned cash for MGS4!

First off this isnt a sequel. Think of it as a expansion or add-on. The sole purpose of portable ops plus is to expand on that highly addictive habbit of gaining more soldiers for your teams and to that end great soldiers of the past games are now avaiable. Old snake, roy campbell, raiden, SEAL's, genome soliders and much more are available. If you loved recruiting new soldiers from the past MPO you'll love this.

Single player 4/5: It's not a campaign so dont get any ideas. Basically you can import your whole team over from portable ops or start off fresh if you wish and then go into infinity mission. It is seperated into 4 difficulty levels adding 5 new stages each. The basic point of the stages is to get to the red advance point from the old ... Read More:

Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3)

The GTA series is one ive always loved on ps2 and spent so many hours playing since I first got my hands on the amazing GTA3 to the still amazing GTA:SA.

However, this latest installment is not as good for several reasons including the very weak and boring storyline which at several times had me yawning and the missions all felt repetitive and not so GTA like. It mainly consisted of: go there, kill this person, chase this person, kill this person, check this place out, kill some people. There was no fun missions like the old rc helicopter or burning down a cannabis farm or bike hopping along loads of buildings etc. The missions were very repetitive and boring.
