LEGO Indiana Jones 7625: River Chase

This Lego Indy set gives a little insight into the movie merchandising business - namely that a large proportion of the set does not even feature in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

There is no Russian dinghy or tree/net combo in the movie, although perhaps there was at one time before scenes were cut. Anyway, the DUKW-style vehicle in this set is very good and well detailed, as are all the other parts. It's all easy to put together and good fun for my kids to build and play with (children may need a little help with the fiddly stickers).

The net trap is a good play device and there is a generous four minifigs, featuring two Russian soldiers, Marion Ravenwood and Indiana Jones. The latter is surely one of Lego's greatest ... Read More:

LEGO Indiana Jones 7623: Temple Escape

I found this set in a local toyshop on my birthday and snapped it up. It's part of a recent range that's been brought out (presumably to coincide with the 4th Indiana Jones movie). The set is typical Lego; fun, durable and easy to play with. It has all the booby traps from the movie sequence (the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark), which all work beautifully. The boulder mechanism in particular is great fun. The plane (with snake!) is an excellent little addition. Great value for money and another fab toy from Lego.

I must admit when I first saw this range in the shop I thought 'another Lego franchise money spinner'. In recent years Lego has become more or less a movie franchise vehicle and it's not easy to find plain ordinary Lego these days. However, my son was really keen on it and was bought a larger kit for his birthday - which he played with so much I had no objections to him using his own money to buy this smaller kit too.

The 'Jungle Duel' kit is great value for money, it is one of the cheapest sets you can get but has 3 figures (Indy, Spalko and Mutt - complete with expressions), a tent, a table which splits during fights, a collection of swords, and lots of other tiny additions (including strangely, a banana). LEGO Indiana Jones 7626: Jungle Cutter

The jungle cutter appears in (deep breath) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull's famous jungle chase. It's an impressive piece of machinery and Lego have done a great job of re-creating it in brick form.

The set comprises the jungle cutter vehicle, some trees, a spooky cave plus Indiana Jones (complete with whip and rocket propelled grenade), Colonel Dovchenko and two Russian soldier minifigs.

The set is fairly easy to build, although the tracks on the jungle cutter are fiddly and smaller fingers may require some grown-up help. The blades on the front of the cutter rotate as it moves and mow down the trees, which are designed to break. The engine cover also explodes off when a piece is pushed in. The cave features ... I great game - not a good as lego starwars but still great. It must be years since I last saw Raiders of the lost ark. The gameplay is great and keeps you entertained. The cutscenes are very comical. Great to play when you have a few hours spare!!

ok do not waste your money on this poor film, it is truly disappointing. Thats all i can be bothered to say about it, just steer clear.

I loved this Game, being a fan of India Jones, I really liked the fact that is stays quite true to the original films, & the little film clips after each level are very funny. Graphics are good, and you get to use your stylus and also blow into the mouth piece to inflate rubber dingies! Being a logo man/woman is lots of fun and something everyone should try!
