WobBally is clearly influenced by the classic game Jenga, the twist being that this time it is a stack of balls you are trying to keep intact, rather than blocks of wood.
The game is well-made, bright and colourful. The idea is that players take turns to remove a ball from the stack, all of which are balanced on rings of plastic to form a tower. There are different variations in that the next ball to be removed can be picked by the player or by rolling two dice.
In theory, it sounds like a great game. In practice, sadly it is not. The tower of balls is extremely wobbly, meaning that when you try to poke one of the balls inwards (using a supplied plastic, er, `poking stick') the whole tower tends to lean precariously. ... Read More:
Ok, buy it as a Christmas present for some kid if you really want to. But why not buy it for yourself? It's utterly brilliant! It's brings out the competitive side in a really fun way and is a great reflexes game that doesn't injure anyone.
Am I saying this because I beat everyone else with it? Probably.
But still you will love this, it's incredibly durable and there are different ways of playing it for those that learn or use their senses differently.
Now if only it had a mute button so you could play after the kids have gone to bed!

I was interested in buying this and saw one out for demonstration, so i thought i'd test it out before i bought it. Lucky i did! I thought of a racoon and began the game. It began promising, asking sensible questions, then went totally off the point. It never got it in 20 questions and only got it on the 25 question, which i felt was a bit of a cheat. I tried again with something simple, but this time, it never got it. I was glad when the words "you win" came up on the screen and it turned itself off, probably because it was embarrassed! At that point, i had to leave, which i felt glad to do, and was very glad i tried it before i bought it. Some of my friends, who were unable to try it, felt disapointed they couldn't and have since got rid of them. It's a good ... Read More:

I bought this for my six year old and it is a really fun game. Its simple so you can start playing almost straight away without having to read pages of rules. Even though its a simple concept it doesn't get boring at all and is even fun for the parents!
I bought this game for my five year old daughter for Christmas because all the other Cranium games that we have provide hours of entertainment for all three of my daughters. This is hilarious. My girls have played it for over an hour this afternoon. I have been entertained just watching them leaping about, trying to touch different parts of their body to the various pads and doing very funny victory dances (as instructed). Brilliant, energetic fun!
This is a great Game of memory and good listening ability.
Simple phrases and sayings that one would think easy to recall, but what leads to the confusion, is remembering where you heard which word and under which light of that particular phrase!
As always, this is another great quality Game from Radica:

My little boy got given this book for CHristmas last year and loves it so much that I could probably quote it all the way through, I've read it so often. Okay, there's not a strong story but what do you expect for a cartoon book for pre-schoolers? The rhymes are cute and the pictures are great - we love it, and so do all the kids at nursery!

This was a present for my 5 year old and he loves it. Interestingly my 3 year old also loves it and spends far more time playing it on his own and with us. He can easily assemble the set and manage all the pieces. So, I wouldn't go by the 5+ rating on the box - it is easily managed by younger children.
