Mains Wall Travel Charger for Archos 405, 605 & 705

Having taken my whole dock plus wires on holiday before this charger is great as it is so small. It doesn't charge quite as fast as the dock but this is far out-weighed by its smallness. Would definatly reccommend it to any archos owner and would also reccommend INNOV8GB as a seller as it arrived well packaged the next day.

On the down side:

There is only ONE protective screen included in the pack.
The sticky side of the protective screen attracts dust.
When you include the cost of delivery to this item it becomes a very expesive for one film of plastic material.

On the plus side:

The fit of the protective screen is very accurate to that of the screen of the ARCHOS.
The clarity of the imiage through the protective screen is very good.
The material of the protective screen is very robust.

Summary:

If you can fit this screen to the unit in a non dusty enviroment and line it up to the sreen well first time round taking care push out the bubbles with the supplyed cloth as you ... Read More:

International Wall / AC Charger for the Archos 605 WiFi - Gomadic Brand w/ TipExchange Technology

The first charge is always slow, but I expected subseqent charges to be faster, especially with a wall socket like this.

Archos say their own wall charger/docking station takes 3-5 hours to charge from empty.

This Nomadic one can be left running for hours and hours and still no full charge! It feels like USB in a plug bascially (maybe the way it transforms the power?)

I DO like the universal heads, so a good, small charger for when your on holiday, but expect to keep it charging through the night!

Advanced Screen Protector (ARCHOS 605 Series)

I bought one of these a few weeks back, and was disappointed to find a small "scratch" mark in one corner of the protector, which was quite noticeable depending on what was on screen. I emailed Proporta about this on a Saturday evening, and received a replacement protector the following Tuesday morning. I've not had to send the faulty one back yet, either. The new one is absolutely fine, and does not affect the quality of the display one bit.

Great product, and excellent service from Proporta. Well worth buying!

Archos 605 Black Leather Stand case suitable for 4/30GB Models

The brown and black leather looks really good together and the subtle Archos logo's up's the class. Does somewhat resemble Grandma's purse but do not let that put you off.

Has brown stitching throughout (preferable to the white stitching of most cases) and a holder for your stylus (inside, not out). Standard 'popper' button on the front and a clip on the back if you are one of those people who like to clip things on your trousers.

You can't put it direct onto a dock without taking it out of the case but are you really that lazy? No, you're not.

Have seen I-nique's and Proporta cases in Micro Anvika on Tottenham Court Road but was unimpressed compared with the look and feel of this case.
