For someone who isn't too into games this has changed my attitude completely.
My other half is really into games and was keen to buy the wii when it came out, having seen the ads I was quite interested in it too- and we were right to be!
I am now an avid game fun, always on the look out for new releases. Having got more into gaming I've now bought a DS too.
Our wii has been played by our grandparents, parents, nieces, cousins, friends...people of every age and interests as you can think of.

so i have had Mario Kart for over... i duno just before summer, It starts out as just cool game, easy to get the hang of, just start on the low levels and work onto the hardest. There are 32 tracks? i think then you have all of them in reverse when you get to a certain level. then you have bikes or cars to choose from. loads of weapons! When you get to playing on it with friends its great, can make enemies for the bad loosers out there but hey its great fun winning. Then you start playing online! and god thats the best thing that you could for this game, the online is AMAZING! yeh sometimes you get smashed by the stupidly good people that play but its just so much more fun playing for points for your mii. and if a friend is over you can play 2 player online aswell, ... Like many others, we have found that not only do our remotes no longer hold charge from the rechargables, but also suck power from standard batteries and are now very temperamental even with standard batteries.
My advise is that the £60 to replace your remotes is not worth the risk of using this product.

I can't believe that anyone could give this game a score over 1, it is terrible, it is basically a load of dreadful mini games which don't work properly with the wii controller, it is boring, there is no fun in this for kids or adults as the games are just hopeless. How this has managed to stay in the top 20 sellers is beyond me.

What a waste of money. it does no more than the wii system memory itself. It's a scam, and a pointless piece of plastic. I bought it because I thought I could run games off it, but I was mistaken. It can only store the game data, not run them. I suppose it could be good if you have lots of high-quality photo pictures (but who does that anyway?), and storing the games as a back up copy could prove useful if your Wii breaks down, but I bought the Wii on release day, and it hasn't failed me since. The data size of the games are miniscule, so it won't save you any money or time putting them on the SD card. I had the problem of having too litlle memory left and my main memory "guzzler" were my Virtual Console games. Being an avid gamer, I have a fair few, aswell as some WiiWare games. Trying ... When i first got this game i thought it would be quite disapointment but i was wrong the graphics look great the stadiums look realistic the only disapointment is that theres no ref on the pitch or linesmen and it doesn't have cut scenes when players get booked also little things like players like Agbonglahor, micah richards etc could have there shirts untucked as its not very realistic every player having there shirt tooked in also the premier league goalkeepers could have there real kits because i am stoke fan i was really looking forward to seeing Sorenson in his kit but was disapointed to see he wasn't just in the boring ea blue kit that every goalie wears apart from the big 4 newcastle, everton spurs etc it wouldn't harm ea to fo a few more. Also you should be able to pick who you want ... Read More:

I bought this at the same time as the WII thinking it would really enhance the sports package - it is fiddly 'undressing' the controller from its skin etc and if you have an excited 3 year old who wants to 'get on and play' this just wastes time. I do not thinkit adds to the enjoyment of the game at all and when using the steering wheel, the remote kept 'popping out!'- the tennis racket and baseball bat are too big for our small room- tendency to smash them into furniture, walls etc the golf club really does help with the positioning of the remote when playing so a point for that- i would try the games without this package before deciding whether or not to buy.
