so i have had Mario Kart for over... i duno just before summer, It starts out as just cool game, easy to get the hang of, just start on the low levels and work onto the hardest. There are 32 tracks? i think then you have all of them in reverse when you get to a certain level. then you have bikes or cars to choose from. loads of weapons! When you get to playing on it with friends its great, can make enemies for the bad loosers out there but hey its great fun winning. Then you start playing online! and god thats the best thing that you could for this game, the online is AMAZING! yeh sometimes you get smashed by the stupidly good people that play but its just so much more fun playing for points for your mii. and if a friend is over you can play ... Hornby Book of Model Railways

Basically an advertisment for Hornby railways and their stock. Okay, I know that it does say Hornby, but the implication is that it is a bit of a guide to building a model railway that one can use to create something special. This is not the case at all. Whilst each topic is covered - stock, layout, scenery and buildings, there is nothing in any depth that after an initial read hasn't been absorbed. It would be very little use as a reference book for techniques or a book that you would constantly refer back to as required. Nope. This is a simple taster book aimed at young folk who are just getting an itch to build. Well produced and very glossy, but overall, not that useful.

20Q Version 2

I was interested in buying this and saw one out for demonstration, so i thought i'd test it out before i bought it. Lucky i did! I thought of a racoon and began the game. It began promising, asking sensible questions, then went totally off the point. It never got it in 20 questions and only got it on the 25 question, which i felt was a bit of a cheat. I tried again with something simple, but this time, it never got it. I was glad when the words "you win" came up on the screen and it turned itself off, probably because it was embarrassed! At that point, i had to leave, which i felt glad to do, and was very glad i tried it before i bought it. The film is fantastic, one of my all time favourites, but why is the free slinky so small - it won't even go down my stairs, surely this is the defining reason slinkies exist?!?
