My 4 year old daughter had been wittering for a camera, we looked at the camera's aimed specifically at young children. Poor viewers, poor quality (Eg the Bratz one) and expensive for what they were. This camera is simple easy to use and our 4 year old mastered it with just a little help. This is better then any of the toy cameras out there, and to boot its actually a fully fledged camera. Strongly recommend. She loves it and uses it successfully all the time.

I am now on my second one of these Samsung S760 Cameras.

Had to send first one back as the camera kept freezing, meaning you had to remove the batteries to get it to switch off and back on again.

Camera also had a problem where some pictures did not take at all, and came up with error on screen when you tried to review them, so if it had been an important pic you would really not be impressed.

Amazon have replaced and sent another as I have asked, which by the way is brilliant service from Amazon and would actually give them 5* for the way they have handled it, i'm very impressed with them, just not with this camera.

I bought this camera as a replacement for a Kodak APS camera and can really see the advantages of digital photography over film. The only negative thing with the camera is that it lacks 'face detection' which is sometimes noticeable on distant shots.

It comes with software for making minor adjustments to your photos, such as the brightness or cropping the picture, but a lot more basic than other software available, which may be an advantage if you're not too technically minded. It also comes with other software for things like making greeting cards from your photos, which I'd recommend that you don't install unless you plan to use it.

Cheap little camera that certainly did enough for me. I bought it about a month ago when Amazon were selling it at the same price and am very pleased with it. Lastly, contrary to what one previous reviewer said it does have a self timer. It's listed as a function in the manual but not explained for some reason. It does however work and can be set for either 2 seconds or 10.

while this camera looks good and is a very handy size that can be slipped into just about any pocket, there are many downfalls.
I've found that the colour recognition is terrible, the camera appears to have trouble picking out reds and oranges and sometimes yellows especially in low light conditions such as a sunset - even though there is a special setting for such scenes!
So many pictures come out blurry even when flash is used.
talking of the flash, I find it to be very harsh, something i've not found with other digi cameras.
There are many features and settings that can be played with, but there doesn't seem to be a purely manual mode (or atleast i've not discovered it), which frustrates me as many of the settings and 'modes' are not correct ... Read More:

Digi View 7" Digital Photo Frame

The instructions aren't great and the interface is confusing....there thats the bad stuff out of the way.
Once you have set it up you wont need to touch the interface again and it works great it reads my 2Gb memory card and then runs great it looks fine when off and works great when on. My only problem is having to explain where and when every picture I ever took was taken.

This camera isn't too bad while it's working. I bought it to replace its 8 megapixel predecessor, as this had started playing up just under a year after buying it (the screen had stopped working completely).
The video on this camera isn't too bad; although don't bother zooming in at all, as it the picture quality is pretty poor if you're not zoomed out completely.
I love the best shot options. The picture quality in general is pretty good. Having said that, it's incredibly frustrating having only 3x optical zoom on a 10 megapixel camera.
It's lightweight and compact; great for keeping in your jeans pocket when you're out for a night.
I'd ABSOLUTELY recommend buying a memory card for this. If you intend on taking much video footage, get as much memory ... Read More:

Brought this a gift and the owner has had several comments on how good the pictures look. Easy to use, and with optical zoom and video capability it is great value.

Buy a decent size memory card to go with it, so you can use it on maximum resolution.

Only negative is the shutter lag (time between pressing the shutter release and it taking the picture) which can mean you've missed what you were trying to shoot, but that seems standard on digital cameras at this price. If that's a problem then you need go buy a digital SLR!

I am very very disappointed with this camera, as I thought it would be good value for money. I have bought this camera TWICE from Amazon after the first one would not turn on. I am very careful to look after them and it was never dropped or anything. However, both of them refused to turn on after just a few weeks, despite changing batteries several times to see if it needed new ones. I had faith in Kodak and so swapped the first one for a replacement, but it has happened again, showing that this model or a large batch are faulty. Don't waste your time.
