Dora The Explorer - City Of Lost Toys

My 2 year old daughter had just got into Dora. The dvd is better than the programs on television because you can change the language. This dvd can be played in English, French and Spanish.
The plots of each story are all basically the same but my daughter seems to like this, although I must say I find the English speaking voice very annoying - it is far less annoying with the French speaking Dora!. I would recommend this DVD on many levels. Its fun but can be educational if you want to use it in that way. I wish more childrens dvds had multiple languages to help them pick up languages and also subtitles to help young kids to learn to read.

Tomy Aqua Draw Mini Mats - Dora the Explorer

As soon as my 2 year old opened the box, she was rapt with these! She loves colouring but of course is too young to understand not to just scrawl over it all... with these mats that is no problem. They kept her entertained for at least an hour and she goes back to them again and again. I would recommend. Yes the pen is a bit small as a previous reviewer said but I do not consider this a problem. A much loved toy already!

Peppa Pig - Peppa's Christmas

My daughter loves Peppa Pig, so I was planning to get it her for Christmas. I gave in and she had it early. I'm glad I did now!!
The Christmas episode it fantastic! Peppa, George and their friends ask for ONE present each, and that is what they receive. Great in these times, and a perfect way to tell your child that you don't have a bad Christmas just because you only get one gift!

I really recommend this, a real joy to watch!

Peppa Pig - New Shoes And Other Stories [2005]

This DVD was worth the purchase for the Learn the Alphabet extra feature alone. This held the attention of my 3 year old and has the added bonus of being interactive. Simple for kids to navigate using arrow and OK buttons on your remote control.

Crayola Gigantic Colouring Book

This is a really good colouring book, lots of simple pictures to colour in. However this book is not gigantic in size, I think they mean gigantic in the number of pages. Its a normal A4 size book. But well worth the money.

We bought this for our 2 and a half years old girl when i was in hospital having our 2nd child. Her wee brother gave it to her as a gift to say "hello". She couldn't of been any happier. She is a Fifi fan-but i wouldn't say Fifi was her favourite (she prefers Dora) but still she pays with this cottage EVERY day. The characters are fantastic!! It features all the characters from the programme- Fifi, Bumble, Violet, etc. Her imagination has certainly progressed since getting this from her wee brother!! She loves making them all take turns at the cooker or in the hamock. I do agree with some other reviewers that the door falls off easily but it can be put on no problem. I did remove certain items such as the plates and cups as i felt they were just ... Read More:
