Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)

This game is so close to perfect that you might be able to ignore its few tiny flaws (the gun cover system, graphics up-close) and call it perfect anyway! This is simply the most engaging, fun, beautiful and sublime game I have ever played! The main story alone can take between 30-40 hours to complete if you really invest in it. After that you can spend hours exploring the huge city. Not to mention the online multiplayer. Everyone simply has to play this game!!

Xbox Official Controller S

The Xbox controller this size is very good size. Its comfortable, its got a good rumble pack and its the best Controller for Xbox except perhaps the Wireless version. The colours and design on this COntroller is also very nice, but the Controller breaks easily. I have 4 Xbox controllers. 1 came with my Xbox and it now has the problem that the Controller things that im pressing the Right Trigger all the time. An annoying problem for games like Halo, Shooting everything accidentely. The other controller thinks im moving the right Joystick thing to the right slightly all the time (not too bad) the other one is fine actually and the last one doesnt work at all really. It keeps on saying (Please Re-Insert Controller and Press Start) ALL THE TIME. Annoying...

Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas - Classics (Xbox)

Vice city is possibly my favourite game of all time and it's still my favourite gta for its time, but I would say as a all this is still the best gta for size, variety and replay value and although this was released in 2004, I still play this even though I have an xbox 360.

I bought this ps2 version on release, but its the xbox version I still play now. This really is in my opinion a masterpiece, everytime I play this game I still occasionally think wow because of the size and variety of this beautifully, absolutely beautifully designed fictional county, with three cities obviously Los Angeles(Los Santos), San Francisco(San Fierro) and Las Vegas(Las Venturas). Halo 2

Just finished HALO 2, another classic game.

The story is a continuation from the first game and picks up where Combat Evolved left off. It is pretty much more of the same with a different setting.

The HUD has been tweeked. There are no health packs this time. You have to recharge your shield by ducking for cover. Also, human ammo is a bit scarce so there is more reliance on enemy weapons and vehicles. Some levels you play as the Arbiter, an alien in a parallel storyline that converges at the end. It works quite well though.

The learning curve is perfect. The first half of the game is challenging but about 3/4 through it gets very frantic before calming down before the end. Graphics are still good by todays standard and ... Read More:

True Crime: New York City (Xbox)

This is one of the oddest games Ive ever played on Xbox. On the one hand the game handles very badly and has BIG problems with lag, and it also freezes totally every now and then. But on the other hand the drive through New York City with some cool 1970/1980 tracks is very realistic and atmospheric at times. Don't expect GTA quality though!

Xbox Console

I own an Xbox. I love my Xbox. I specifically like the fact that it can handle otherwise PC exclusive game like Half life 2 (5/5), star wars knights of the old republic (5/5) and dreamfall (5/5) right up to 2006.

The Xbox has 3 advantages over the PS2;
1) Superior hardware (can play higher-spec games) which most gamers never notice because most games are available on either platform. It also means you have slightly more options with the graphics upsacaling - again this goes unnoticed.
2) The ability to Rip CD's (VERY slowly) and use the soundtracks in SOME games. Very similar to any PC for the last 2 decades.
3) The hard drive allows for faster loading and saving than the PS2 memory cards.

Manhunt (Xbox)

I don't give a flying circus whether anyone thinks that this is a bad game for whatever reason they do, whether it is because they say it is just a poor version of Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell etc. (which is totally unfair as it not trying to be those games in any way and the only thing that is similar is that this is a stealth game) or just too sick and trying to be as violent as possible just to create controversy or being too boring, whatever their reason, if they don't like the horror genre then they should simply avoid it as they can't possibly appreciate what makes this game so brilliant.

Although this is a violent game, the violence is a bonus, this does not make the game scary, it is the atmosphere, the synth soundtrack, the dark shadowy setting, claustrophobia, ... Read More:

GUN (Xbox)

This is one of the best western games i have ever played. The story line is fantasticly familiar and the characters really make you feel that YOU are part of the game. There is one draw back however, as you progress through. The game it really does become harder and when someone reaches the point that you really can not go past the game really gets dull. More than most games.
The graphics at first sight are not brilliant but the gameplay suddenly draws the attention away from that.
In total the game is a great buy. I highly recommend it!

Half-Life 2 (Xbox)

OK, first things first, if you have an Xbox 360, get The Orange Box, or if you have a powerful enough PC, get the PC version, they're better and offer more.

THAT BEING SAID...

When you consider the system it's running on, this is an amazing achievement. Sure, the frame rate can drop, and it looks worse than the other versions I mentioned, but it still looks very nice, and plays incredibly well.

If you can only play this on the Xbox, please do yourself a favour and get it.

Scarface: The World Is Yours (Xbox)

I bought this game as I am quite a big fan of scarface and i must say I am not disappointed. The game progresses at a good pace and is extremely playable. The voice-over is excellent despite Al Pacino not able to do the Tony Montana accent. My only complaint about the game is that Elvie, his wife, does not make an appearance.

Maybe I should not say this but at times, the cheats came in useful due to the amount of shooting there is. The last scene is particularly hard as you take on Sosa's Army.

My only other regret is having sold the game.
