Most of the time this card has served me well however, with some games (namely "Gun" and "Black") the game won't recognise it, so you cannot save anything. Avoid and go for the official Sony cards.

Ok so I HAVE had my PS2 memory card for a while now, but it has now started to act up.
A few months ago it lost all my Guitar Hero 3 data, so i had to do it again!! (not a huge problem as i love the game!) But seemed to work afterwards, thinking it was just a glitch i carried on using it but now it has failed again on GH3 and other games aswell.
I will be getting a replacement Sony card as they do last well and are better than other cards for the PS2 but be warned they can fail. (thats not to say they will though) :)

I'm a true hardcore gamer, and this has a couple of great and unforgettable exclusive titles:
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
Spyro: A Hero's Tail
Try and grab that lot if you want this console. And at such as a cheap price, missing out is unforgivable.

NFS comes in for a bit of stick at times. Usually for being repetative. Why buy them otherwise? The last few titles have lacked somewhat but this is a bit of an improvement and a return to form.
First up, back to driving at night. Carbon City is a hilly, neon lit metropolis. A bit like driving around Scarborough in the dark. The object of the game is to claim terratories. The map is split into zones. As you win races in each, your team (which you create) controls the zone. The object is to control the map.
Graphically the games a bit ropey as is the sound. There is noticable screen tearing, jerkyness and pop up at times. Slowdown is evident when things get heavy on screen. The cars handle like Titanic trying to avoid ... Read More:

... More fun than it should be or could ever be expected. Great humour and it doesn't tarnish the star wars name (unless your a super-star wars movie nerd) As a star wars fan i think i can say that. This is just a really enjoyable game especially if played with a friend.

It simply isn't. Even though it's meant to be.
The crossing is so awful that none of the players even seem to know what the box is, they'd rather smash someone's face in when they're sitting innocently in the stand. The shooting is frequently off target. I find I'm actually more acurate shooting outside of the box than inside of it. It just seems, poor, comapred to it's PES counterpart. It appears harder to actually play...and that;s only when you can get it to play.
I have it in my collection. But It'll never let me play it. In fact, I've played one game in an hour and a half today. Officially the crashes are winning 4-1, because in that hour and a half I've had to turn the damned computer off FOUR times. Great for patient people, ... Read More:

There had been some negative reaction to the new battle system that replaces the traditional Final Fantasy random time battles. But when you get used to it, you will find that the new system works very well and is much faster, less repetitive and overall better than the old method.
On top of the refined battle system and improved graphics, the game is absolutely massive. The average player will probably need to put in at least 60 - 70 hours to get through, but to fully explore the world of FFXII and complete the numerous optional side quests and hunts will take over 150 hours.
While the game play and graphics have evolved from the previous Final Fantasy games, it FFXII's story that surprisingly is its biggest weakness. The plot itself isn't ... Read More:

This is the most fun I've had with a game for ages.
As one old enough to have been around for the original cinema releases, I still get a special kick from these Star Wars games. And this is by far the one that generates the most smiles.
The humour is excellent. Subtle, and rather silly.
The action is good. Lightsabres, guns, jumping, double jumping, using the force, blowing things up, jumping in vehicles - all good stuff.
The graphics don't let it down. But it's the sheer wealth of content that makes this stand out from the crowd. So much to do. And then re-do to get those elusive mini-kits and bricks. So many things to unlock, buy, use, explore. All the while having a good chuckle and getting stuck into ones favoured characters.
