I should preface my review by saying that this game started out as a hell of a lot of fun and easily one of the best games I have played on the X-box....for the first 8 hours or so anyway, until it kept freezing up and wouldn't let me play. Now it's completely unplayable - it won't even install to my hard drive because the disc is unreadable. I understand that this is a pretty widespread issue and that, furthermore, Lionhead has done absolutely nothing about it. So I'm left with a 40 quid beer coaster. How disappointing. However, I went out and bought Fallout 3 instead, which is a brilliant game and comes thoroughly recommended by me.

I mean that whilst the game is indeed very good the fact you can be good or evil doesn't make one jot to the game, you're good everyone cheers and gives you respect, you're bad everyone jeers you a bit, does it affect the game?NO!,you don't get attacked on sight for being evil, prices aren't cheaper if you're good, places aren't inaccessible being one or the other,There was mention at the time about how you could damage a tree and some years later the damage will still be there, same thing applied to scars etc..,can you? NO!,overall a very good game but doesn't deserve all it's praise.

Just finished HALO 2, another classic game.
The story is a continuation from the first game and picks up where Combat Evolved left off. It is pretty much more of the same with a different setting.
The HUD has been tweeked. There are no health packs this time. You have to recharge your shield by ducking for cover. Also, human ammo is a bit scarce so there is more reliance on enemy weapons and vehicles. Some levels you play as the Arbiter, an alien in a parallel storyline that converges at the end. It works quite well though.
The learning curve is perfect. The first half of the game is challenging but about 3/4 through it gets very frantic before calming down before the end. Graphics are still good by todays standard and the sound ... Read More:

The opening narrative, complete with brilliantly illustrated storyboard sets the scene perfectly for what is easily one of the best games to be released on the Xbox.
A compelling plot with more twists and turns than a helter-skelter will keep you glued to your buttocks, given flavour by the well written NPC's. Some will annoy you, this is certain. But when this occurs, you could simply take their head off with an axe if it suits you.
The graphics are pretty, the load times are not too long and the controls are easy to master. Oh, and the graphics are pretty, VERY pretty! (So much so that I have now said this three times!).
What keeps me playing games is the feeling of being able to free-roam, to do what quests I choose, to have my in-game' choices ... Read More:

It's a tough task to follw up the first KOTOR but this game met every expectation i had, it only fails to meet the levels of KOTOR because of the lack of twists in the storyline and the fact that KOTOR was the first and couldn't be surpassed even if KOTOR 2 revolutionized video games.
Alot of people saw planets gleaming and in the peak of their history in KOTOR, now we get to see how the planets look years on and what we find is building crumbling and everything in fairly poor condition.
A great storyline, good gameplay and give you plenty of entertainment.

As a gamer who was almost addicted to Morrowind, i must say i was slightly disappointed. I bought this because it looked fantastic, its an elder scrolls game and its huge, but each of those reasons have their flaws. 1. Oblivion does look absolutely brilliant, with waterfalls, ruins, hillsides, caves, towns everything really. However, quite often you see a "unloaded" landscapes, where trees are yet to appear, with detail is missing ( a problem that Morrowind also suffered). 2. I'm glad that these games all have the "do what you want" option and Oblivion keeps that, with better stuff for you to do, or at least updated stuff from the past games like better customization and buying property. Although there are some tweaks that have changed the game on a large basis, the lock-pick system is ... Read More:

The gameplay is great, the game is well balanced and the range of weapons, vehicles and landscapes is wide and varied, but what really makes Halo one of the best games of all time is the amazing storyline which keeps evolving throughout the game, suddenly twisting just when you think you know what is going on. I was genuinely sad at the finale of the game, and wanted the story to continue (which eventually, of course, it did in Halo 2 and 3)
If you like the story, and want to see more of where it came from, look up the Marathon series of games on the Apple Mac from Bungie in their pre-Microsoft days. I think Marathon is now also available on XBoxLive.

This game is so close to perfect that you might be able to ignore its few tiny flaws (the gun cover system, graphics up-close) and call it perfect anyway! This is simply the most engaging, fun, beautiful and sublime game I have ever played! The main story alone can take between 30-40 hours to complete if you really invest in it. After that you can spend hours exploring the huge city. Not to mention the online multiplayer. Everyone simply has to play this game!!

Halo 3 is the best for online entertainment, brilliant fun with your friends. Only bad thing is when you play against stupid noobs that use needlers!! NOOBS!!
