OK, some people say that pokemon is just for boys, but it's not, just as the begining of this game proves, you get to choose if you are a boy or a girl, and enter your name! Although i'd always loved pokemon since i was little, this was my first pokemon game. I LoVeD iT!!! ItS sOoOoO cUtE!!!

When this game came out i didn't think it would be any different to the previous version, Ruby and Sapphire, but i soon found that it was a serious improvement on them and that the new features, like a battle tower, complete what was already a great game and this is why i would recommend it to anyone. Buy it now!

It's a long game, with plenty to do and see, many islands to visit and battles to fight. My daughter was very pleased when she found that this game has all the Pokemon from the first series (Blue and Red) and unlike the previous games you can migrate these Pokemon onto Diamond and Pearl.
This helped a lot when it came to the legendaries.
Also, it isn't a game to be completed in a few minutes; there is always something new to do, new Pokemon to catch.
Admittedly the graphics aren't as good as they could have been, but so what? It's still a load of fun.

What else is there to say? It works. It does its job (very well), there are thousands of codes for (probably) every single DS game imaginable. It's easy to use, and effective.

The reason I gave it a 4 in the fun rating is because it's NOT fun typing in codes that can have potentially 100 charcters into your DS, but luckily you can copy and paste it into the software that came with it, which saves a lot of tedious tapping with the stylus.

The only problem I had is when I plugged it into my PC, sometimes the software didn't recognise it, but this could be because I was using Vista, and it's designed for XP. So Vista users, beware. It works, but it takes some fiddling.

Great product overall, and came in very useful.

Pokémon :o)

As a younger child I used to love playing Pokémon on my fatty Game Boy and Game Boy Advance! And at 19 (shh!) I still do!

So almost everyone has played Pokémon before or even seen the cartoon that was shown on TV years ago (yes, I watched that too!). and I'm sure everyone knows what the whole Pokémon fantasy is, and the Storyline.

- The Pokémon History! -
Pokémon was first released in Japan for the Game Boy all the way back in 1996. There have now been 100s of million sales of the Pokémon franchise. Originally in Pokémon, you played a young boy (you could pick his name) who was sent by a Pokémon Professor who was trying to learn about all of the Pokémon in the region you are in. Somehow ... Pokémon Pearl (Nintendo DS)

have been a loyal fan to the pokemon franchise for many years and this game... made me feel quite ambivilent. Of course, it's a pokemon game therefore it was good. It had all the elements that a pokemon game should have. But I can't help feeling that they didn't bring anything interesting and new enough into these 2 new games. Although I would recommend this game in any one's collection, i feel that some fans, like me, may be a tad dissappointed. For example the DS control system was shamefully left out. Yeah you needed it for mixing berries...so?! Hardly a pivotal part in the game. It's repetitive and boring and only true pokemon nerds would use this all the time. However this shouldn't be a problem for some people as a lot of people were annoyed that Zelda was ... Read More:

"Well, just imagine you're lying there, and you wake up... and you're a Pokémon!"
"Hmm, sounds interesting..."
"And get this! The world is ending!"

That sums up how I think this game was pitched.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is an interesting game. Very enjoyable with many of our old favourites (I ended up Charmander, my very first starter when I forst played Pokémon Blue) and some newer ones scattered here and there (I got excited to see Absol later on in the game). However, while the gameplay is all neww and exciting, and it seems Pokémon live in a civilised society after all... it just seems that little bit, well, dark.

Basically, the world is being thrown into an apocalypse, something we don't learn until roughly ... Read More:

Now come on...it's unlikely that you've never heard of Pokemon if you're reading this. And you should all know that this version has 251 pokemon which you need to capture.

You start off as a basic pokemon trainer, as you raise and capture more pokemon you're party grows stronger and evolves as you attempt to become the Pokemon master by beating all the gym leaders and the elite four and finally ??? (I won't spoil it for you).

Basically it's an addictive RPG that involves you raising and capturing pokemon...do you really need a long and in depth review for something so basically addictive. Just buy it.

How to Draw Pokemon (How to Draw)

Although the paper quality is not the best (comparable to those cheap colouring in books you can get), the outer covers are strong and bright but it's the content that makes it great value for money.

My six year old has spent ages with this book drawing and perfecting his pokemon favourites. Step by step instructions along with simple diagrams, even the most difficult figures are a cinch once you know how. 17 characters to draw with hints and tips for each one.

This is cheaper than most kids magazines and worth every penny in terms of how much use it's had.
