I was given this as a leaving present, as a kind of joke, but my colleagues didn't realise I've always loved ants and really wanted one of these for ages! I wasn't disappointed. This is a well-designed product which provides hours of entertainment and fascination. I've seen all sorts of strange things going on in my Ant World: ants moving things around then back again like women designing a living room with furniture, a brutal murder when an ant I thought had escaped turned out to clearly be from outside (i.e. it was killed within minutes of entry), and interesting preferences for lunch: fruits not as popular as one might think, honey, other insects and even nuts proving popular on the menu. World Alive - Ladybird Kit

I ordered this ladybird kit for my daughter who is 5, and obsessed by insects. I made the mistake of telling her I had ordered it.....
The kit arrived within 3 days (5 stars Amazon), with a note inside saying you could log on to brainstormltd to order the lavae. So I logged on....only to find that their website isn't up and running yet...so I rang them. Very polite lady answered the phone, and informed me that the ladybird larvae cost £6! (I was expecting there to be a voucher inside so I could just quote a reference number and get the larvae for free, or that if I had to pay, it would only be about £2.50 seeing as I had already shelled out £15 for the net basket to house them in). My little boy got given this book for CHristmas last year and loves it so much that I could probably quote it all the way through, I've read it so often. Okay, there's not a strong story but what do you expect for a cartoon book for pre-schoolers? The rhymes are cute and the pictures are great - we love it, and so do all the kids at nursery!

Guinness World Records 2009 (Guinness World)

I have had several editions of the Guinness World Records over the years and they have generally had a huge amount of content. This edition is much more like children's enclopedia than a serious books of records. There is much less material than normal and what little there is seemed to have been plucked almost at random and is poorly organised.

It may still appeal to children because of the numerous pictues. A few of these are 3D as advertised on the cover, and 3D glasses are included in the book so they can be veiwed.

Sport fans may appreciate the tables of sports records which is the only area where any of the formerly comprehensive coverage remains.

the music great especially when the first time you see the film.
ive been able to relate to the films from the beginning but this one is by far the most emotional. the music puts across so many feelings that made me cry 4times throughout.

buy the CD after youve watched the film or you wont get the entire impact of the music.
