Amazon send you the latest version, not old stock of the card, which is great... but, the latest version has a remote control (a black one, with RC 6 on the back), and a black IR Blaster/Receiver. Both the remote and the blaster/receiver are NOT compatible with Windows XP SP2 or XP Media Centre Edition 2005. They work perfectly with Vista, and is certified Vista Compaitble (32bit) and the remote works 100% on Linux, and more specifically MythTV using Lirc. PNY GeForce 6200 AGP8X 128MB VGA+TVOUTChildrens Toy Shop > Computer > Video and Graphic Cards from: PNY July 18, 2005 I just bought this card from amazon.co.uk as I was in need of a temp upgrade well I say temp but if your the owner of a FX5200 anything that's better. You can call a permenant upgrade lol the PNY GeForce 6200 128mb card had some great reviews which I read recently good all round GPU core (350mhz) and memory speed (500mhz). I've been recently playing Need For Speed Underground 2 with my FX5200 it has 128mb DDR and 128bit memory bit bus. It played it ok. Good Points: If upgrading from a FX5200 or any series 5 card then my choice would be to get this but try at a lower price. All in all it's a good card. |
