This is fantastic piece of kit to buy if you have a Sony Ericsson, my w810i works fine with it. It lasted for ages and i have had no problems with it. Does what it supposed to do no hardship jus plug it in drains battery a bit but that doesnt matter as i recharge it every day. Perfect for when you go out camping or on the beach reasonable volume. Perfect A++

I got this today after humming and hawing about what speakers to get for my new ipod touch for the holiday. Went with this more because of the way it was packaged. I am really pleased with it, very handy. It has a little arm on it so you can stand it up. The sound is very good. I was really surprised at the quality and there is no distortion. The only downside is that it is just a little to small for the ipod touch to fit in the front see-through pouch. I don't have a problem with this though as I would just keep it inside and let the tunes belt out. In comparison to speakers I have had in the past the quality here is superior. It really is a handy wee piece of gear. I am delighted. Worth the money.

When the speakers arrived i didn't think they where going to be very good, merely because of the size. However i was wrong, very wrong infect!
the satalite speakers may be small but they produce amazing sound from high to low pitchs at any volume.
where to start with the sub...its got as good as or even better quality as my old phillips speakers.
the volume of the speakers is also a thing i should mention...i've not been able to get the volume ova half because of people complaining. which just shows there potential.
one thing that is not mentioned in the product description is the blue light circles the surround the volume and bass controll, the light also pulsate to beat of the music yourt listening to.

I previously owned some Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers and thought they were pretty good, that was until my brother purchased some of these Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 speakers. As soon as he turned them on for the first time I immediatley went online and purchased some for myself. I can't express enough in words how awesome these speakers sound! There is absolutely no comparison between these and Altec Lasing 2.1 speakers, or any other 2.1 system I have since listened to including Logitech, Creative, Sony, JBL and Bose. The clarity of the speakers is excellent and the bass is mind blowing, they sound perfect across all frequency ranges, really bringing the music alive. - requires usb connection as well as headphone jack so lots of wires
- wire connecting speakers together is quite short (about 23 inches) so they cant go very far apart
- no extra/separate volume control for speakers
- no warranty...

+ great sound quality (from music at 128 or 160kbps, joint stereo, on my computer)

Creative I Trigue 3000 Speakers

These elegant speakers were exactly what I was looking for.

They look spectacular, and The subwoofer can fit in even the smallest of spaces. Their sound quality too is also pretty good. The bass is bassy and the whole unit hasn't had any difficulty in playing any Techno/Drum & Bass, however, I am only comparing that to my old speakers (they came with my computer). These also can play very loudly without distortion, however, they are in quite a small room so in larger ones, this could be different. The volume controller, too, is great, however it feels like it could break when I turn it around. At £50 you really cant go wrong. When you are using a 3.5mm audio jack (as you do with these speakers and most of their similarly priced rivals) you are never going to get the quality of 'proper' speakers. However these speakers perform far better than i would have expected and frankly are perfect for the price. Even at max volume there is no distortion (and you will never need maximum as it is extremely loud) the sound is clear and clean and they handle all different genres remarkabley well. The woofer is a bit of a beast when cranked up and they look pretty good sitting next to my macbook. I think if youre looking for some noise boxes in the £30-100 range i'd go for these.

JBL Duet White Mac/Win

Bought these as a beefier alternative to my 2006 iMac's built-in stereo speakers and they have not disappointed. These perform as well, if not better, than speakers costing many times as much. Phenomenal bass response and clarity right through the dynamic range. The white ones are also an excellent aesthetic match for my iMac (although owners of the current iMac may prefer the aluminium alternatives). What more do you want for twenty quid?
