I've just bought the X-240 speakers and the design is excellent. I love the cute little satellites, they're well angled to point directly to you.

If you like your music SERIOUSLY bass heavy, then these are a good buy. I have the sub set to about 25% and in loud paced music it's still too "thud" rather than "music". Basically, it's a GREAT kick-drum, but bass guitar is poor.

I've just had to replace my Harman Kardon Soundsticks (and coz I'm feeling poor, I didn't want to replace the £129 speakers at the same price). I saw a good few reviews for the X-240 and I guess for the money, they're a good deal. Anyone who tries to persuade you these are "HiFi" needs to be led into the street and put out of your and everyone else's ... Read More:

From the moment I first saw the JBL Spyro with its cute flower speakers I knew I had to have it and I certainly wasn't disappointed. All very easy to set up. Plenty of cable on the speakers. The bass adjuster is on the subwoofer and the volume control is on one of the speakers and very discreet. They look and sound great. Very pleased with my purchase.

This ideal for the traveller who wants some personal sound. Superb in the hotel room or in a tent. The NXT speaker is excellent with the exception bass but that is easily forgiven on a dark lonely night. Just ramp up your iPod to full volume and use the in built volume control to get the best out of it. The only down side is the size. The iPod classic flops around even when packed out with spare batteries and earphones. If price is your concern get this otherwise I would get the FX500.

I bought this with the sole intention of using it with my laptop for DJ'ing. I had previously just used the laptop's built in sound and wasn't impressed with the overall sound, too bright. This little gem sounds superb, a nice balanced sound that made my laptop sound a lot more professional. I was worried that the USB would add latency and cause trouble with outputting 4 hours non stop music, I needn't have worried, the Sound Blaster handled it all without any trouble. Well pleased!!

ive had these speakers for about 3years and after using them everyday almost full volume the treble is starting to hiss when i first got them i was gob smacked buy the sound quality that each 9w sattilite produced
overall i have been very impressed with these speakers i would recommend them to anyone i am going to buy another pair soon and use the ones i have at the moment for the tv

Set it up in minutes...easy to use...looks great... and sounds fantastic...what more can I say???? This is well worth the money. Researched a lot of products around this price range and I think I made the right choice. Powerful, small, lightweight, takes batteries, remote control, bass & treble control, portable with a handy plastic cover to protect front of speakers. Lovin' it.....

These speakers are just as good as the player! The sound qulaity is brilliant and they look really smart. They are also really small so easily fit in my suitcase or on top of my bedside cabinet. The player fits into the slot really nicely and it uses batteries so there are no worries about finding a plug socket. Overall, a very good product.

The Zen Microphoto fits in perfectly, and it is a very good buy if the purchaser loves music. the sound coming out of the speakers is very clear. The only thing wrong I guess would be that I think it is a bit over-priced.
