I bought these speakers as a replacement to my broken but excellent logitech 2.1 system. They looked amazing on the product description page and frankly thats all they do! The 2 satellites produce reasonable sounds in the treble range, but the subwoofer barely works at the highest of volumes. Reason: its is too small (about the size of a toaster) and light, to deliver any bass. Please spend £5 more and purchase the logitech x210.

Great little speakers, good sound, wouldn't have paid £70 for them but worth current price (£25) agree case should be big enough to fit mains lead, can be squished in but not designed for it. Bought white then now seems to be a black option in photos , not there when I ordered, don't see an option to choose colour, would have preferred black but need them now so no time to attempt a change.

Biggest gripe, no dock adaptor for ipod nano 2nd gen though that is the ipod featured in the picture on the box (probably to make speakers look bigger?) ipod will stand on plug but should come with adapter as says works with all dockable ipods, grrrrrr.

I was sceptical at first whether or not to upgrade my speakers i had logitech Z3 system loud speakers very good bass. After a relentless search i kept coming back to these speakers they just have the whole package for the price and sound phenominal. They are truely loud and very geeky for you gamers out there but i use them for music and they are great. If your budget is around £100 get these the next worthwhile step is £170 creative speakers i found but nearly double the price.

Loud, clear, cheap. Awesome

I bought these speakers for my computer. Desk space is at a premium and I am on a relatively tight budget.

The L/R speakers are amazingly small and take up very little space, with the subwoofer out of the way on the floor.

I feel that with sound quality you get what you pay for. At just under £50 I'm not expecting miracles but the ability to listen to music without cringing because the sound is too thin or there's too much base. I think the clarity of sound produced by these speakers is good and ideal for the home. They don't disappoint.

I have had these speakers for about 2 years now and the bass is not that loud, it doesnt realy give the music that thump and when you put the volume to full you can hardly hear the bass so over all id say its ok for small rooms.

When I purchased these speakers I was not looking for top quality sound due to the very low cost...but I was more than pleasantly surprised!..not only are they superb sound quality they were delivered in 2 days!...Installation is very simple and straightforward...in all a most impressive deal..I have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone.

There are surely portable laptop speakers of higher audio quality. But these are pretty good considering the price. And, what clinches the deal, is the fact that these are very lightweight speakers. I travel a lot and these will not add much weight. I am very pleased with them. (But the 200% claim is hyperbole.)

JBL Creature II White Mac/Win

Well i am rather happy with the JBL's, came nice and quickly too which was good.
The speakers look good, and go nicely with my macbook, now the sound:

1. For the music i listen they sound really good. i listen to a lot of bass heavy house music, and the speakers deal with it really well. The sub has a good authoritative bass that is clean, punchy and deep, but does not overpower the rest of the sound.

2. I have to admit they do not sound great for everything, as they lack the midrange ability, but for me this is not a big deal, as i said i listen to mostly house which is bass heavy.

3. The small satellites produce a good sound, leaving the bass for the sub, they are slightly tinny, but for such small speakers this ... Read More:

Logitech V-20 laptop speakers

I like to watch films on my laptop of a night when the kids are in bed, and my laptop speakers just don't cut it.
These speakers are loud for night time watching when you dont wan to disturb the kid's. Also I like the quality not distorted when on full.
But the best thing is no batteries needed and no plugs, just plugs into the usb so easy. I like them alot.

I have been searching for portable speakers for a while, if you are looking for something taht is:-
a) Portable
b) Battery powered (with mains option)
c) Not limited to iPod's only (3.5mm jack input)
d) quality sound
Then the iM4 is perfect. The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.
