I have the Black (not seen the white...)This tiny little speaker system is an ideal toy for the nano for those who want a descrete desk-top toy or picnic partner. The sound quality is good, and although not loud, much better than anticipated from two 1w speakers. It looks sleek and has a nice quality feel The single battery is impressively long-lasting, in fact it outlasted the fully charged nano. It has a little on/off switch underneath to further preserve power (providing you remember it's there.) No capacity to chrge it so rechargeable batteries an option. I wouldn't pay full retail price for this product but there's excellent bargains available now. The stand is good & secure (altough I'm not keen on it being integral to the battery ... Read More:

I bought these shortly after buying my HP Pavilion which came with an HPw19 widescreen monitor. Despite having checked up in advance, these speakers aren't compatible with the screen - the fixings are all w-r-o-n-g!!
I now have the speaker bar wedged between the monitor and the stand, and that kind of works.
As for quality, the sound is tinny and crackly. They hum when not in use, and the volume control is very jumpy. They are incredibly quiet, and so I tend to have the volume turned up pretty high and then use my keyboard volume control. I'm not an avid music listener, but comparing these speakers to the ones that came with my old Time computer many years ago is like comparing a transistor radio with a DAB radio. ... Read More:

Very happy with these speakers. Good depth and quality of sound. Easy to set up. I was surprised at the weight of the subwoofer.
It's my first split system and I can see(hear) the advantage if you hooked this or another split system up to your tv. Sounds will be jumping out at you.
I just use it for my creative zen mp3 in a dance class environment and it is plenty loud enough.

These are a great set for the price. They're not spectacular, so if you're going for a stunning set, spend more, but I bought these to attach to my laptop in a shared house. They have sufficient kick, and the separate dial for the woofer is useful. Good value.
Pros: Separate woofer control, sufficient kick.
Cons: I took me ages to get all the wrapping off!
