I received my JBL today and within minutes had it plugged in and playing. Wow... the sound quality is great not to mention the brilliant subwoofer, very good overall package.
The little speakers are so cute and on one of the speaker you have volume buttons to control the output of the music.
I recently had the Harmon Kardon Soundstick 2 which was also a great piece, the JBL is equally as good if not better for its looks.
I didn't know this at the start, but the covers on the subwoofer and two speakers are changable, it comes with black covers and white covers as standard. The black covers are standard and already on, but simply take it off and place the white ones on if desired plus JBL have other covers ... Read More:

The system is excellent and the sound quality is also good. Its a good system but not as good as a home theatre system !. Good to have in the bedroom for easy listening. Good value for money.

I first looked at the JBL On Tour portable speakers, and was disappointed with their build quality and easily damaged finish.
Having now purchased the Sony SRS-T80, I can highly recommend the latter...solid, nicely finished, simple design and no fancy covers to break, just a neat fabric carrying bag.
The sound quality is good for the size , even with classical music...bass is slightly deficient so not ideal for full orchestral works, but still quite acceptable for listening away from home. I didn't expect them to equal my large hi-fi speakers (and they don't, of course!) but I was not disappointed.
Volume is excellent and battery life seems good, though I've also invested in the Sony mains adaptor for bed-time listening...saves ... Read More:

I've been using the MX 5021 for over a month now and it's performed exceedingly well regardless of what i've thrown at it (Every kind of music, games, movies)
The imaging is perfect, satellites work wonders & the sub does a really good job. The control unit and remote let you toggle the bass & treble & volume. It can be really loud if u want it to be & without any distortion at all.
Sure there are cheaper 2.1 sets but if you are looking for the best, this simply has to be it. If quality is what you are looking for, the 5021 will gladly deliver everytime !!

I can only endorse the other reviews of this docking station - it is a fabulous piece of kit.
The only thing I would point out is that you don't actually need a NWA800 series MP3 Player to use the cradle. I haven't got one. Instead I plug my player into the cradle using the "audio in" socket with cable provided.
Admittedly there is a slight loss of functionality (the remote control won't change the song playing, but that's about it) but the sound that this little beauty produces more than makes up for it.
