Keep away from this printer ,read all the complaints , this machine DRINKS ink and i mean drink.The paper jams easy as well this is the worst buy i ever made ,cannot put other than epson cartridges in it, once youve taken them out it wont except the old ones back.
epson have really made a money making machine DONT BE FOOLED,spend your hard earned cash else where or just throw it out the window instead of lining epsons pocket, going to bin this rubbish and look at a reliable hp, Please take advise given by others as well, wish someone had warned me. RUBBISH

great portable printer . you just need the battery. with mine i got a bluetooth adp which is good for printing wirelessly. quality is great and if you look around you can get ink cartridges for under £13

Lovely printer. Easy to set up and use. Nice Software. However the toner cartridges (Black, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta) are £50-60 EACH. Yes- thats a coupleof hundred quid to renew your toner. At 2500 pages per set of cartidges that's about 10p per page for toner alone, it's tempting to chuck the printer away and start again. Mine's been sitting on my desk with no black toner in it for months because I can't face paying that much to keep it going. I'm probably going to dump it and buy a different printer.

I bought my SJ 5590 as a replacement for an older HP scanner which I found very easy to use.

In contrast the SJ5590 is a nightmare. The scanner has been designed around the US letter size document, not A4, as a result if you leave an A4 document on the flatbed and then use the ADF, the scanning head cannot see the documents, if scan a small document without selecting the scan area you will get an image of the slot of the scanning window of the ADF on your image.

The ADF is supposed to be capable of scanning both sides of a sheet but it distorts the top of the second side and I have given up using it. It also tries to run pages back through the scanner when set to single sided scanning which leads to jamming.

Samsung ML-2010R Mono Laser Printer

I got this printer cheap to help me with my home study and ive never looked back. Ive not had any jams on it. My only comment is that the images that i have had to print the dithering is a little of but then its a mono laser that i got for just under £100 so im happy.
