Given that the same adapter can often be referenced by numerous different part numbers, depending on which series or version of HP notebook you own, getting the right replacement can seem confusing. In my opinion, it pays to buy OEM kit rather than after-market compatable and this is exactly that. An original HP unit that exactly matches the specification of the part numbers given. What's more, the price is no more than many are asking for a generic non-original unit. Indeed, it was an agent in the HP Total Care team that e-mailed me the link to Laptop-adapter.co.uk in response to my query about where to buy from - and I guess you can't get a much better endorsement than that.

I've bought one of these to keep my iPod going while i'm travelling - I'm hoping that I can charge it up in hotel rooms / hostels etc, but if I can't, I know that this little gizmo will keep me listening to my music and i can use it on the plane, sat in my lap, instead of eating my ipod's internal battery.
Yes, it's a little bit bulky, but then it does hold 4 AA batteries - it's not going to be slim line, is it.. It's also a little bit expensive (for a white plastic case with a wire coming out of it..) but it's an iPod add-on, so you're going to get milked, aren't you (reckon the apple ceo makes more money from apple licensing than he does selling ipods...).. but think about the freedom it gives you - iPod listening anywhere in ... I bought this product about 4 weeks ago. It's managed to ride out a few thunderstorms since then, but in a recent storm a few days ago, the telephone protector got busted. I've had to call tech support several times since, and most recently was told that someone would get in touch with me about details such as where to send the faulty product, but I've yet to hear from them. If you try calling them, your call gets routed to a call center in India, and you get put on hold for a awful long time. After 5 or 6 calls, I'm almost entirely convinced that this call center is staffed by ONE person. The first time I called, he took down my details, gave me a case number, then gave me a local number to call. I tried this number several times, but no one ... Read More:

I have to agree with the other poster. I have previously purchased much cheaper so-called replacement NB-3L batteries which have not even fitted my Ixus, as they were so badly made. The Canon batteries might seem over-priced, but they work and won't invalidate your warranty. Don't waste money on cheap batteries which might damage your camera.

For £6.15 from Amazon for a 6-way Belkin surge protector you can't really grumble. Foe £1 more you can get one with a 3m cable but I didn't need one that long
