HP iPAQ hw6910 Mobile Messenger - Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition - PXA270 416 MHz - RAM: 64 MB - ROM: 128 MB 3" TFT ( 240 x 240 ) - IrDA, Bluetooth, 802.11b - GPS - GSM 850/900/1800/1900Childrens Toy Shop > Computer > PDA: Phones from: Hewlett Packard Fantastic bit of kit, and I'd never be without it. But - be warned! It's a PocketPC first and foremost, and therefore has all the problems you'd expect - crashes and hangs etc. THE BAD: The operating memory is far too small, and running TomTom alongside a bluetooth phone kit causes me untold numbers of crashes per journey. I'm on a replacement unit because of so many problems, and the new one is no better. Also, you'll probably end up having to do several registy fixes to get the GPS to talk to TomTom properly. I've given up with TomTom on this unit, and use a separate pocket pc (HP rx5900) instead. Pity, but I don't get crashes now. I'm not as disappointed, but basically the idea is the one from the previous "critic", and moreover, it's a discontinued product. I have had no problems with the screen. Yet the OS has a tendency to crash a lot. Synching isn't such a nightmare provided you use the cable and, for Vista, buy Outlook 2007 and download the Mobile Center. No losses... only misplaced notes. The camera is 2 MPx and obviously of little use. Buy a camera if you want one. The voice notes require using the stylus and so are not a possibility for people who, like me, tend to record voice notes while driving. Phone, GPRS and WiFi connections work nice.
