The Good:
First things first - it is sexy. I bought a mirrored case which protects it well but I wanna have it so I can see it cos it does look great (although I will be devastated with the inevitable scratches!).

Space and speed really is impressive considering the size. Picture quality is awesome. Coverflow is pointless but cute for novelty value. I don't use the contacts or calendar so no comment on that. Sound quality is fab, with the right earphones.

The whole package of iTunes and the iPod itself are super easy to use.

The Bad:

Probably a perfectly good piece of kit in itself, but I bought this for my son's 11th birthday, and trying to download the "itunes" update necessary to run it has taken nine hours of toil, reduced me to a blaspheming, sobbing hulk in front of my boy and thoroughly taken the gloss off his day(and mine - big-style). It took a google search for forums on which other people were dicussing the same problem(many sorely aggrieved folk out there!), an adventure into ms-dos programming and many, many attempts to get the wretched thing going at last, and I now wish all the ill luck in the world to both Apple and Microsoft for their petty, spiteful squabbling and lack of communication, and their attitude that it's acceptable to take it out on their customers. ... When I first saw this product up close I thought it would be too small. And it is small. Incredibly small. But when you turn it on you realise that everything still works brilliantly. The screen is still bright but not garish. I can easily watch a movie in clear quality without blurryness, pixelation or even bad light contrasts. I don't know how apple do it but they manage to squeeze such a fantastic product into dimensions that can comfortably fit into my top shirt pocket.
The wheel is easy to use and doesn't go too fast or too slow when you try and scroll. The scroll even has a great handling ability and unlike previous nanos, I can easily scroll and then stop exactly on the thing I was planning to stop on. My first proper iPod - and it's great!! If I could have afforded the bigger capacity then I would have got it - thats its only downfall. Just means you manage your music better and you always have something different on your iPod. Saying that I've crammed about 30 albums, countless photos and many iPod applications (just the freebie ones to check tham out!) Definatley a well deserved treat to yourself!

Superb, have no gripes at all, sound quality is great, drag and drop so easy, no gimmicks it just plays music and plays it well. Very good price as well.

Fitted in 2004 e class mercedes and works fine. Sound is much better than expected. Using with 80gb Ipod classic. Wasn't sure if it would work because that Ipod isn't on the compatibility list. Took the gamble as the price was so low. All the features work including volume and mono/stereo. Was delivered 2 days after ordering with other items on super saver delivery. Well done Amazon !!!

what can i say this mp3 has just disappointed me so much. i bought the creative Zen 8GB about late July on amazon as it was cheap and i thought it be greate to have a different Mp3 after my ipod shuffle kinda broke. on the 1st of september the mp3 died and just after converting clips off my computer and transverting on to it. but JUST as i was about to turn it on, it just won't turn on and never again! I don't know if it broke because of the brand or because i ordered it from amazon but if any customers on the amazon that are planning to buy this Crap..... then i SUGGEST NOT TO BUY IT.

I love this little thin. Was very surprised to see how thin it is. Sound quality it amazing. Although as recommended by trustedreview web site I got some better creative headphones.

This thing plays everyhing you through at it. There are no limitations to music types or video types like the apple ipods.

Software is also very good. Zencast to media player and convertor, all good.

90 minute video take roughly 20 minutes to convert at highest quality on my dual core 1.8Ghz CPU

I can only recommend you by this and don't look back

Two days after buying my iPod Touch I listed my PDA for sale on eBay; as well as playing music this little beauty does everything I ever used my PDA for. It synchronises perfectly with Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Safari on my Mac ... all through iTunes which is so easy to use.

The storage space is perfect for what I use the iPod Touch for. Where the 8GB and 16GB models are a bit too small in my view as I like to carry my music collection with me on my travels. But that's just my view.

It also does video play back, although some would argue that there are better portable video players around. But as I quite frankly have no intention to ever watch video on the go on a screen this size this is not a problem at all as far as I'm concerned.
