First of all, the supplied antenna was no use at all, but no surprises there. I got no channels using that, when I used the adapter and plugged it into my main antenna however, I got 70 services. The picture quality wasn't quite a match for my TV, but it wasn't a million miles away.

Secondly, the supplied software isn't particuarly inspiring. It gets the job done but in a rough around the edges kind of way. If your a Vista user I strongly recommend using Windows Media Centre instead; you can't use the supplied remote but the picture quality and EPG are far superior.

Overall, a great bit of kit for the price, highly recommended.

I ordered this product and couldn't wait for it to arrive, I was eager to transfer the film on my camcorder onto discs so I could start capturing some footage of my grandson as he started to crawl. But things weren't to be!

The EZ grabber comes with installation disc and Ulead video editing software both of which I installed on my laptop. I kept getting error messages saying things about this plug in and video capture couldn't work and the like - when I used the Ulead software (you can't update it either). When I used the EZ grabber software I could manage to get some footage saved but it was in black and white, and when I tried to edit it with the Ulead software even more error messages - so I am now losing patience and faith.

It was easy to get started. Just installed the card in the computer, turned on, and then windows detected it and asked for the drivers. So I put the disc in and away we went.

I can now get the definition that my screen recommends, and we seem to zip along a lot faster than when the graphics were on the motherboard.

I don't notice the fan particularly, but then my (much lower spec) old computer had a graphics card with a fan, so I guess I am used to it. It's not loud.

Pinnacle PCTV DVB-T STICK Nano

Bought one of these recently, to go with new Dell laptop. Had some initial problems with the channel scanning but found this was due to a co-axial cabling issue. Once the signal was restored, it found all the channels my existing STB sees on the signal from a wideband antenna distributed through the house.

The included aerial does nothing in my location, I have to have a 5m pole on the roof to get any decent DVB reception.

Great mp3 player - much better than my daughters i-pod nano as it does not use i-tunes and has expandable memory. The scroll wheel has a lovely feel to it - much improved over the e200 series which we also have and rate highly. More options in the software than previous Sansa players such as Audiobook options, file delete etc. Very tactile and easy to use. There are two options in the volume set up on the settings menu - select the louder one. Sound quality is very good and in my opinion better than the i-pod. I would highly recommend this player. Very small and compact. There is a full review on the "anything but ipod" web site should you want an in depth review. Very good value for money. I hope this helps.
