If your laptop is overheating and cutting out or the fans are on at 100% the majority of the time I would recommend this product. After installing the latest graphics drivers for my Dell XPS M1710 and buying the game Mass Effect, my laptop suffered with frequent overheats and noisy performance from the fans running at maximum. As a temporary solution I used ice blocks underneath the laptop to provide cooling which proved rather effetive. However these were inconvenient, awkward and only delayed overheating.

To carry out maintenance on the cooling system on my laptop I used the following:

- Can of Compressed air
- Solvent to clean off old thermal compount (rubbing alcohol is fine)

woke up to find a huge cardboard box outside my room, wondering what it could be, i ripped the box apart to find the anti static wrist strap, which was a bit odd seeing as they needed a arms length box to fit it in, either way, i got it the next day, even ordering at round about 5ish.
I had never sued one of these before, but its really really easy, works like a charm and fits all wrist sizes, and it can stretch pretty far, and it doesn't get in the way.
worth getting if your doing a lot of pc building or other electrical work that doesn't have another method of grounding yourself.

Why didnt i buy Artic Silver 5 and the Artic Thermal Material Remover and Thermal Surface Purifier Product`s years ago??? When i received the parcel it was on the small side and i was thinking is there gona be enought hehehe well there was and i promptly opened my pc and removed the heatsink and processor the process was so easy just a few drops on both processor and heatsink wips off then apply the Purifier in the same way wipe off then your ready to go with the Thermal Paste if you have a single processor then you just place a tiny blob the size of a grain of white uncooked rice right in the middle of the processor i used a brown one hehehehehe... if your using a due processor then you need to do a thin line across but NOT edge to edge then ... Ok we all know that we're supposed to keep our iPods in a cover or shell and look after it, but let's face it we don't always do as we ought. Mine has become essential to my life and to be honest my "best friend" has seen better days, so I bought this cleaner as it seemed to be the one that was most effective. Plus I thought the name of it was clever...I digress.

I followed the instructions and to be honest after the first treatment I wasn't that impressed, but it says on the pack to try successive treatments and THIS is the key to getting the product to work.

Compressed Air Cleaner

I bought 3 "compressed air cleaners" in argos a few months ago, not exactly the same make but i imagine it is the same capacity etc. It is perfect for the really tight spots in your keyboard/computer and other weird and small places. As i like my computer clean i also got a "mini-vac" but it doesnt reach behind the motherboard or inside fans/heatsinks. I used these cans of air to push out the dust and use the vac to suck up the rest. Out of curiousity i decided to "sniff" the cans of air... No smell at all so you wont get a room smelling of some weird gas for 2 hours. The cans had lasted me for 1 month each and only for £6 for a can its worth it.

Bought this a while ago. I have used the fluid and cloths on my filters and left no streaks. I've no idea what the cotton buds are for though!

The blower is weak but serves its purpose for removing dust on filters without resorting to using the cleaning fluid.

For the money its ok, but there is better cleaning equipment out there....
