i feel that if you keep doing the game mode over and over again then it becomes repetitive and if you try and do some of the achievements by yourself on campaign, its not gonna happen is it? cause its nearly impossible on the campaign on insane by yourself.

i like the fact you have bots if someone isnt playing on either instant action or online then you can still enjoy a game no matter what and i think that it relates to timesplitters in that aspect because theres individual characters that you can choose from and that you unlock if you do certain things and you can have bots which are usually crap but u hav them anyway and timesplitters will be similar online when it comes out soon

Burnout Paradise (Xbox 360)

Let me start by saying two things...

1. This is purely an offline review
2. I have only previously played one burnout game (revenge)

Burnout paradise has turned out to be quite a good and really fun game for me. The graphics are nice and sharp with no slip in the framerate even at high speeds which I think is essential for a game which is played at such a fast pace, the gameplay is good and it sounds realistic too.

I have seen some reviews criticising the open format and free burning, like I said at the start having only played one burnout game before so this new format doesnt really bother me all that much. Ive had an xbox 360 elite for about 2 months now and im using the standard batteries that came with the console im my wireless controller
they are working brilliantly ive been playing on my console alot and when i go onto the xbox 360 blade to look at the controller battery there is only one bar of the battery gone! i dont think im going to bother buying a rechargable battery pack because there is not much point when conventional batteries last for ages i wouldnt advise getting the battery pack unless you use your console for long periods of time. im sure the battery pack is a good product but i dont see much need for having it

Ok this game isn`t for people who just like shoot`em ups, there is a great story here and you do have to do a lot of talking to people. Graphically this game is fantastic and is like a movie at times especially on a 42" plasma. I haven`t suffered that much with the game freezing and slow down. The story in this game is that good that i really think someone could either make a film from it or even a series preferably a series. If you have the patience then you will enjoy it.

Just when you think racing games can't get any better along comes grid. This is simply the best racing game ever, the flashback feature is ingenious (If you drive into a wall at speed you total your car. Instead of bouncing off as in other less good racing games, but your race isn't other you get up to 4 flashbacks per race a chance to rewind the action 4 or 5 second and try again.) With varying game difficulties, all driving options drift, open wheel, touring cars, muscle cars, demolition derby (great on Xbox live) and the le mans 24 hour where you drive through a sunrise and sunset this game has it all. Including the oppurtunity to hire and fire a team mate to race with you. Graphically amazing, a real must have. When inevitablly Grid 2 comes along lets hope they add bikes. ... Read More:

Great looks, great functionality and quite robust. As a controller thrower, this thing has been airborne many a time and the only damage is a slightly loose left stick which still works perfectly.
The only criticisms I have are a rubbish D-Pad and if you like to have a finger on all shoulder buttons you may find it difficult to hold.
The right stick position is also a little strange but it becomes second nature quickly.
A good size for small and big hands I think this is one of the best controllers made.
And everything looks better in black!

A real challenge of a game but that's what makes it so fun. With dozens of tricks and excellent gameplay, it makes it one of the greatest games i have ever played on. Also you can customise your charecter hundreds of different ways. Overall 10/10!!!

When I first started playing Bioshock I wasn't as amazed as I'd been expecting. Sure the graphics are stunning, and the controls work very nicely, and the voice work is perhaps the best I've ever come across. But then I picked it up again a few days later, and suddenly found I couldn't stop playing the game without wanting more.

This is a very addictive game. The graphics are A+, and for me the level of difficulty is worth a mention. It's not super-hard if you don't want it to be, and I didn't find myself having to replay many bits of the game at all. Also the controls are a joy to use, and many of the weapons are superb. I particularly enjoyed freezing the splicers, and then shooting them to pieces with the shotgun.
