One of the best rail shooters I have played, or up to level 3 anyway. If you are planning to buy this for the Xbox360, then the PAL version of the game will crash after level 3. No fix has been released by Microsoft even though they state this game as backward compatible with Xbox360. This problem has been noted on several internet forums so it is not an isolated case.

I was so disappointed after having read the other reviews.
There is a real lack of atmosphere in this game. In the reviews it was compared to Halo! There IS NO such comparison to be made. The gameplay is very limited, the pace exceptionally slow, the graphics, and sound are lacking for an XBOX title and look more like early PC 3D titles (think Voodoo 2) certainly not up to usual glossy standards. In fact, glossy is a word that in no way applies to this game.
Missions are dull (imagine GoldenEye missions but without any real storyline/continuation or character/s)... again no atmosphere. If you do buy the game, you will feel nothing.
Additionally the controls take a lot of patience, promise a lot of interaction and actually ... Read More:

I have always loved the rainbow 6 games(Raven Shield for the PC being by far the best and most tactical) and tbh i dont even consider this a true rainbow 6 game.
There are NO tactics involved whatsoever, you can literally walk into a room by yourself without your team (who are utterly useless) and easily shoot everyone with one bullet each! One time i walked into a room with 3 'baddies', and had to reload, i stood in the middle of the room and reloaded whilst none of them hit me, just BAD!!
REALLY [...], the graphics are also terrible and the team all have characters including 2 ladies, all of which provide many cheesy, cringe-worthy lines such as "ok amigo, lets go" which just makes me wanna puke to be honest!!!

This game is inetresting, in that it works like a slightly changed Diablo II, you have a variety of characters to control. Each character comes with only four abilities that get stronger and bigger, but then consider that you control four at once, and suddenly the game gets a lot bigger. And it does it quickly. All the faves are here, Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey. Jean Grey becoming more fun in later levels, when you pick up cars and throw them at sentinels, if you so wish.
That graphics are somewhat chunky, not so much that you notice during the game, but during cutscsenes you'll be wondering why they all have flippers for hands.
Overall the game is fun, and people looking for a fun game that will keep them enetertained I ... Read More:

I like a lot of people had not played any previous Rayman games, except the diabolical Rayman M. But this is something very pleasantly suprisingly good. There is pleanty of variation in here. Good action, 3d and 2d levels, puzzles, loads of enemies and variety, which is really good. And I got it for £9.99 which is a bargain!! Rent it first if unsure though.

Having played the first 2 SSX games on the Playstation 2, I can say that SSX 3 is a great improvement on what has gone before. New features include:
- One massive mountain, divided into 3 peaks, which you can explore freely in between events. - Expanded Uber trick system, including rail tricks and monster tricks. - Earn cash through finding secrets and winning events. Spend cash on rider stat's improvements, new gear to wear, music tracks and art. - Greater variety of events, including big air and rival challenges.
SSX is a lot different to all the other snowboarding games out there such as Amped. SSX throws away realism and instead focuses on massive tricks, imaginative courses and high speed. I personally love the arcadey feel ... Read More:

After the shocking dissapointment that was TC streets of LA i was pleased to learn that luxoflux had taken a more serious approach to TCNY. All credit to them, they did a great job. A fully breathing city which responds and changes to your actions, good storyline and gameplay, however some of the random bugs are just annoying.
For a start, if your a fan of the genre, then dont go expecting a polish on par with perhaps the GTA series. Although the game looks great on the whole, it is prone to sudden and aggravating flaws. for example, sometimes while driving, the HUD and all other on screen items will vanish, leaving you blind, as well as the road often has a freak out with textures in this time. Also, there is common loss of sound effects which requires leaving and ... Read More:

Ok, this is sonic's opposite, who can handle guns twice the size of himself!!! Wicked! Bedroom_studio is obviously not familiar with the concept of this game. It isn't nessecarily about story, it is more about the fast paced gameplay and being able to choose your goals and paths. And there isn't a problem with the story, as there are about 12 different ones depending on which path you choose to take and whether your good or evil, or neutral. All of the storyline's of the game are at least acceptable, it's not as if they're unbearable!! Don't buy this for children under 7 though, they won't have a clue what to do! As it is mission-based, and on some stages you have to be clever, patient (i'm not), and determined. Youngens will get ... Read More:

Having already played through ( and thoroughly enjoyed ) Links 2004 , I was unsure as to whether or not to buy this as well . I can definitively state that this is the better golf game - more courses , more challenges , more Championships , more longevity , better graphics - need I go on ? If you're into golf , and have a console , get this game .

The graphics leave a lot to be desired. The story is thin and of poor quality, I never got any feel for any of the characters. All the annoying features of the early first person shooter games were present (like you can't go between two crates even tough you can clearly see you will fit neatly between them). There is little interaction with the environment. Movement of the character is limited.
Personally, I don't think the storyboard way of telling the story works. Also, in some of the more difficult parts of the game, there were annoying clips of animation you had to watch every time.
Other than that, the game works. One star added for the price, two lost to age I guess.
